Really not going well for him. Shouldn't have sent him to thistle in hindsight, can't be good for his confidence to be in a relegation battle.

You don't send a player out on loan and expect them to win every match single handedly. Especially not at a club like Partick Thistle.

You send them somewhere where they're going to get plenty of game time, build up their strength and fitness, and learn how to cope with an expectant fan base and the ups and downs of modern football.

In that regard Thistle is about as good a place as he could expect to go and he's doing fine. He'll already have a winning mentality and an attacking nature drilled into him from his time at Man Utd, and he'll come back in the summer looking to get some first team action in a Celtic shirt.

He's playing all their games, can't be easy but kept a clean sheet last night . All good for his development and he's well able to get stuck into a relegation battle.

At least he is playing regular completive games, should stand him in good stead.

Dropped for the second game on the trot..

Would never have sent him to work under Ian McCall. Horrible bitter *..

Never forget his comments on KT and why people rated him..

I dont think it's a strange place to send him at all. Also if he's been dropped it's likely because he wasnt performing well enough.

Thought it was a weird move in the first place. But if he’s been dropped by the worst team in the league it’s a wee bit concerning.

He looked like he was playing wing back for them..

I've watched them a couple of time's. Last time was against Raith Rovers who are the league below at Firhill and they bossed Thistle..

Countered them and were the better team throughout. Thistle played one way....get it up big long aimless ball's to Brian Graham all night..

Shocking to be honest I'm really no surprised under McCall. You just have to look how many player's they've brought in and are going through to tell you they haven't got a clue..

Feel like a McGregor type league 1 move would be more beneficial.

Or at least think about the type of football/manager you are sending the player to play under.

Not for me mate, depends on the way they want to play and if they’ll go for experience to see them through. When he went there it looked like they were making themselves up the league.

    The experience will help him.

Thistle made sense in terms of he'd just moved to Glasgow and we could keep am eye on him..

Their style of play is criminal though from what I've seen. No shock their goal tonight was another set piece and Brian Graham..

We've made a couple of bad choices loan wise this year. Hendo to Ross County was a really bad move and this is looking like another with a team really struggling and who can't afford go go down to league 1..

Hopefully we get them out to side's next season like the snake did with Ajer and Christie etc and be played in the positions where we want them to be..

Accies. Motherwell. St Mirren. Side's close by that give youngsters a chance..

Honestly mate, at that time in January when they went they lookd like they were getting well out the relegation fight.

I agree it’s worked out the opposite of what we would have thought it would be but he’ll still learn from the experience, hardship is still something a player can take value from.

PersonallynI would let none of our players near McCall but it’s still experience for him.

Aye he'll deffo have learned something. Same with Hendo..

I still feel they've been a bit pointless but they'll be able to take thing's away and do them differently for their next loan in the summer..

As I say mate I've watched them and they've looked very poor and basic tactically. Seem to have no direction. Seem to have loaned in loads and have had a big turnover of player's..

McCall is an arsewipe and they've just thrown money at trying to stay up..

Hendo’s was annoying to me, was obvious he’s not the playee for them and the bhoy has class.

I agree now with Thistle but at the time he went, they were on a wee run.
