    Sad news. Even though he had a pretty good innings. RIP

    So many era defining films, such as Champions, * For Life, Paths of Glory, Spartacus and Heroes of Telemark. One of my first trips to the cinema was for The Man From Snowy River.

    Aside from that has to be remembered for his part in getting rid of the old Hollywood 'Blacklist' from the 50's. But perhaps the one thing I always think of when think of Kirk Douglas, ever since reading a biography years ago, is about the disappearence of Jean Spangler.
