Based on the little we’ve seen of both, I’d rather see Frimpong start than Bauer.

Elhamed with Frimpong as his understudy sounds ideal.

But how many expected Frimpong to start so well? I just hope he keeps it up, a young guy who seems excited to be with us. Think this guy will be with called back to Netherlands youth teams soon.

Honestly, from watching the highlights posted in this thread, I don't think I've seen a rb roast a team as bad. Looks rapid, skillful and to have a good end product.

Was he like that the full 90 mins ?

Can't wait to actually get to see a game he's starting.

Well he looks a few inches shorter than Forrest, so yeah, he's probably competing with Dembele for our tiniest player. It would be funny seeing the two of them playing together and roasting guys about twice their size down the right wing.

FM and Transfermarkt have him as being 5'7.

Isn't Forrest 5'7"? I'd be very surprised if Frimpong is that tall, unless Jamesy is wearing platform studs.

Feel like it's Elhamed, Frimpong, Bauer -- in that order. And that's no slight to *any* of the bhoys -- all are performing fabulously! But we have to have to have that depth at CB and LB -- we have it, but just have to explore it!!

I'd have said Forrest is a wee bit taller than that tbh. Everything online is giving different heights so * knows.:giggle1:

But aye, Frimpong does look tiny.

Very impressed with the attacking side of his game!

Wouldn't have him in against Lazio, but he will cause some damage domestically, especially at home.

He ran like a dynamo for 90+ minutes, great to watch.

As @tarboltontim says, he just doesn't stop the full 90 mins, always looking to make himself available for a pass.

What has impressed me most though for a guy so young, is his composure under pressure. You can tell that he's had a good football education.

Where an inferior full back might look to skelp a ball down the line when being pressed, he is looking for: who is inside, who is behind, can I turn the man etc. The skelp is always the last resort.

Only saw the highlights from sat but looked very sharp, quick and eager to attack. Also loved how he showed his pleasure at his assist for Forrests goal.
Ok it was against Ross Cunty and would like to see how he copes defensively and against more challenging players. But going forward, he looks the biz and would give any LB trouble.
    Great start young man.

Looks a promise. Loved it on Saturday when he charged after the ball to stop it going out for a shy, ended up falling into the advertising board and still got back to the ball before the county player. Looks like he’s buzzing to be up here

Buzzing the wee man celebrated that assist more than most celebrate a goal.
