Don't know how I missed these posts sorry for the wait in my reply.

Aye it would be that easy it's still not happened yet ...
No I wasn't 'seething' at all, far from it, I was more than happy to make a decent donation to that tbh. Then again that fine was 'worthwhile' as it clearly sent a powerful message, whereas us getting fines because some kids want to play with sparklers, while in a football ground, really is pointless :50:

No point putting a target on your back for harassment and intimidation from the Plod.

Aye this is basically it in a nutshell, no point in doing half the polis/huns jobs for them by putting your own face all over the internet. Also factor in alot of peoples works wont be too keen on it either.

Without going all the way with you on the general issue (as you know, I'm not particularly against pyro, I just personally don't think it's worth the fight- unlike the political stuff, which absolutely is); but like you, I find it just utterly bizarre to think the wider fanbase might be willing to match any fine for pyro. It just doesn't make any sense.

Unlike Palestine, we are not talking about any burning injustice here, why would the wider fan base even want to contribute and where would the money even go afterwards? It's just a genuinely bizarre idea.

Exactly RR I only said that there could be a fundraiser set up as a pisstake/being sarcastic in the first place, when he said it could be easily done I almost * myself laughing :56:

I must admit, I actually struggle to see the value in pyro* TBH, but I think we should be a little cautious before dismissing it out of hand. It's entirely possible that we're missing something valuable about it.

In my case, it wouldn't be the first time.

    * The cynic in me can't help wondering if it's a way, in an increasingly movement- and thought-controlled society, to feel like you are free without actually being expressing any particular free thought or movement. In other words an illusion. I'm much more interested in defending the right to express political thoughts and the joy of genuine coordinated, rhythmic movement. The former is still under threat and even the latter also was a few short years ago.

What's really funny here is you claiming you were being sarcastic whilst not recognising the element of pisstaking in my reply to you

Can all fans in the North Curve make an effort to be in for the tifo tonight and also please hold up your materials for the full duration of the tifo.

Unfortunately recent tifos have suffered a bit with fans not being in their seat in time or chucking their materials early.

This is particularly important for tomorrow as the tifo will last a bit longer with 2 stages to it.

The tifo will start after YNWA and finish after the Huddle.

    Thanks
