I thought defensively we were very good today. Camara was imo our best player along with Petrov. Telfer had a good game and McManus and Balde hardly put a foot wrong. We still have Agathe, Varga, Kennedy, Virgo, Sutton and the possible signing of Du Wei.

I think the defence was good and will get much better. The future is bright. Keep The Faith!

What's the point of making a poll if you can't vote "yes"? If the question is, can the defence be any worse then the only answer is * yes it can. Every defence in the SPL is worse IMO except for maybe the huns but I'd say we're equally pish as far as defence.

I thought Camera and Telfer played very well today. Bobo was all over the kip! Sorry, but the fact is that Baettie didn't play well, Harton didn't get much to do and I'm afraid that the * just wasn't in the game. With Thompson gone, the structure collapsed - the defence was fine.

Finally, Rangers weren't much cop either - lot'a work still to be done :87:

Agree except Telfer. First goal was totally his fault. This Prso hold him off
with little finger of his left hand and scored a goal 1-1 with the keeper.
I was amazed how Prso just stopped him with his finger like a magical wand or something !

Are you for real?? Balde and McManus were * miserable giving the huns two goals on a plate. Me and my mates actually couldn't stop laughing watching them on the ball.

There were some guys in white-green and some others in blue, but you're right, it could be panathinaikos-schalke

    i'm shocked

Why would they have been playing. Panathinakos play in greece and schalke from germany, you could have picked someone better. Wasn't funny none the less. How you can say Camara had a bad game is beyond me.

The defence was brilliant today, apart from Telfers marking for the first goal. He was excellent for the rest of the game.

    Totally agree mate.

Telfer didn't do too badly but letting Furio get ahead of him so easily was critically bad defending.

Balde and Petrov need to look at themsel's for letting that weakling Buffel ran past them so easily for the second.

Playing Hartson up front on his own after the sending off was criminal, he should have been hooked immediatelty. Against 10 men they were able to hold a high defensive line, anyone who has followed Celtic with any intelligence knows BBJ is a passenger outside the oppositions box @ the best of times. We were effectively playing with 9 men. GS get yourself a set of balls.

Ok here goes, I dont think you should call Nakamura a wee * it is highly offensive to him and to the millions of Japanese people some of which could be reading this forum. Ok how was that.:celt_2:

No offense intended. I did work for a Japanese company for five years, and although the phrase was used infrequently, I never heard or saw any offence being registered - not an excuse, just an observation. Now 'Nip', that's a different matter. In this this instance, 'wee' can be taken as a term of endearment - even though he did not play too well. :87:

There was no offense taken (probably) but it was the only thing that i could take issue with in your post and i did not want to set a precedent of agreeing with you.:celt_2:
