don't you think that could've been down to them having better players on the right though? He was pish tonight, looked too late over his shoulder to spot the run, but you also have to ask what the * were our two other players in defence at the time playing at? If Forrest (looked like him anyway) doesn't pull up and tracks the only runner , they wouldn't have scored. Money has to spend on Meling though as this guy doesn't look like he can defend at all.

Not at all. Absolutely spot on, if you ask me.

 

I've slept on it...well tried too but kept getting nightmares about him.

Their might be a player there, but certainly not a left back. No way can we trust him in the backline under any circumstances.

Also thought Lenny should have protected him (and us) and taken him off before he imploded and cost us big time.

 

I'd consider moving him further up the field if Sinclair goes. That'd leave us needing to get two left backs in though.

 

Absolute bombscare from what I have seen so far.... Would rather Hayes in there. Or even Izzy if we had kept him.
Need to use the KT money to get someone in that can do the job, but we need to come to terms that he obviously isnt going to be as good as him, whoever it is. But its not Boli.

 

This is an absolute mess, we've basically just blown £3.5 million on a LB who cant defend, that is a * disgraceful bit of scouting.

Passing was honking, positionally nowhere and his tackling was * but he did improve slightly on the second half and did avoid getting sent off. I'm going to try and look on the bright side and say it was a massive learning curve that didn't cost us in the end. He needs to improve ten fold as hayes is the better option at the minute

 

I thought he has been * a couple of games now. Last night really showed he was mince and never a left back.

It’s frightening to think he could be our first choice left back this season.

 

Any good thing he did (one clearance and two headers that could've been assists) seemed...random. His conscious efforts led to bad things, mostly.

 

This guy needs to stay away from the first team as last night he was * * and dug * at that .
When we go to the bigotdome in 3 weeks time here's hoping he's on his holidays away from Celtic park and sums it up when we would rather have Hayes playing left back .

 

He’s hardly shown anything further up the field either. Can’t defend and bang average winger too by the looks of it. Dreadful Celtic. Just dreadful.

 

I don't even think he is that good going forward either though. I want him to be good and give him time but he doesn't look like he can even control a ball. Hatem has only played twice and has looked far better in the final 3rd.
Comes down to the board again in failing on the recruitment side of things. We need 3 or 4 players of real quality ie starters in the first 11. Sinclair will likely go today aswell and we have mikey johnstone at LW, if mikey is injured who else is pushing for that spot, Morgan ain't up to the job either imo. 3 CMs pick themselves with calmac, Brown n McGregor but you need competition for places. If you don't have competition for places, complacency comes in eventually

 

Although he needs probably a stint out the first team for a bit, he shouldn't be made this season's scapegoat when things don't go well, we do it every year, yes he didn't have his best game but a long season ahead and he will whether anyone likes it or not, be a big part of it.

Still very early days, not everyone hits the ground running.

Give him a few months to settle in, time with our coaches and tactics etc.
