Sad times. Gutted he’s leaving but trying to be rational about it. Great opportunity but at 22, I still feel he could have given us 2 years and the 10 before heading off at 24. If it is 25mill up front, we need to be spending at least 15 of that, along with the 3 mill earmarked for turnbull on 3 quality players at LB, RB and CB. Will we? Un-*-likely. Young prospect on loan incoming and a squad player in midfield. Arsenal are a shower of complete *.

Devastating from a purely selfish point of view as I could see the young chap living the dream I once had myself and likely every other celtic fan, I am hurt and angry but I had already resigned myself 3-4 weeks ago that it was going to happen.

All the best to him and I hope he does well even just to show that our players are worth the fee's we demand, I just pray to * that a good 60%+ of it gets reinvested in the net few weeks and not hoarded in the vault along with some massive incomes that we have attained just purely from transfers and not saved for dividends and bonus's.

Time will tell but I will not hold my breath...

    Well said mate.

So raw and it hurts like * to lose him. I'm annoyed and want to give him a slap. But I love him.

But no player is bigger than the club, we move on.

It's sad to know KT is on his way , but I hope he has every success wherever he plays his football . He might wait a while to see any silverware at Arsenal though . I'd like to thank KT for his great service to Celtic , and his special connection to the fans .

Bank 10 million, spend 15. Use that as a model for future transfers and we should do alright.

Really sad to see KT depart, but don't hold a grudge against him personally, with signing on fees and a huge wage increase. There's every reason to believe he might struggle to overcome this hernia problem, and we may have seen the very best of his career anyway.

Anyone believing loyalty exists in football are delusional, for 99.9% it's purely nose in the trough stuff.

It's obvious he has wanted the move from the start, so hopefully the board are * * can be packed away before it starts. I believe the fee was the amount that was spoke about when he signed the contract extension.
I don't hold it against KT, don't particularly understand it or agree with it but I can also see why.. heyho he is leaving before becoming a legend and that's been his choice alone to make.

Just thought of something if he fails that medical ...

Cant help but feel he could've done better than Arsenal if he'd stayed with us just a wee bit longer...

Gutted to see him go but wish him all the best

Honestly Sean, I wish him no good or no bad down there. If he's no playing for us anymore though then I genuinely don't care how he does down there.

    It's not a * arguement it's a point.

I'm not being personal with KT but I've seen it so many times over the years with players, and I'll go as far back as Nicholas doing all the uber fan stuff. That's the reason it stings, you think as a fan and wonder why would you?

I thank him for all he done, I wish him every success in the future but when you happily play the role of uber fan then it will be questioned when you leave first offer.
