Dropping that fud Ntcham and putting in Christie saved our season.

The League Cup Semi-Final was still hanging in the balance at 0-0 at HT when he got subbed on, we went on to win 3-0 with Christie winning the penalty for the opener and scoring our 3rd.

We were 4 points behind in the League then went on a winning run in October & November to go top. In 6 of 7 of those games Christie scored.

Never thought I’d say it but we’re a far better team when he plays

Just thinking of what Sean Mac said, it seems like his old man (and old dear of course) must've had a very positive effect on his character and work ethic as he knows what being a footballer means.

He was subbed off at half-time during the League Cup semi final and dropped for subsequent games.

He impacts so many games he plays in. His emergence from not even considered a squad rotation player to a first team starter is remarkable.

Bulking up doesnt necessarily mean better.
They could end up sustaining more muscle injuries and hamstring injuries.
His game isnt based on physicality, he shows great dig and appetite as he is

But it was the injury that allowed Christie to shine. Despite playing badly Ntcham was still picked, when really Christie should have been given time or an opportunity to shine.

We should be getting him locked down on a long term deal pronto.

Would be one of the best bits of business we’d do the summer.

There's more immediate priorities for us to focus on but it should definitely be looked at.

    Immediately aye.

But long term our priority has to be keeping him and McGregor, getting them tied down on big deals.

If any team wants them then they’d have to offer a ridiculous amount. The two of them make us tick.

McGregor is tied down for another 4 years.

Christie's deal is up in June 2021 so much more of a priority.

Loved it when Forrest got hacked down and Ryan was busting a gut to get over to confront the * that done it.

Too many * don’t stick up for their teammates these days.

Such an important player for us. Hope he stays injury free. Absolute workhorse.

Combine work-rate with ability and you have a player that has now become so important to us.
