    LEFT FRONT

The more important question, to me, is why people are using silly font/colors and WITH THEIR CAPSLOCK STUCK so much lately.

Also, I rather like Wilson. Competition is a good thing, though -- and with all 3 of these guys pushing a good RB shall emerge. I hope.

This time last year we had almost no competition at full back so it is great to see we have some depth and quality now at full back.

Hinckel, Caddis and Wilson on the right Naylor on the left with Doumbe and Wilson equally able to slot in on the left. So 5 players battling for those 2 spots going into next season which should be good news with that healthy competition plus cover so we don't have the kind of fiasco's we had at right back last December.

I agree with hoopybhoy Paul Caddis should be playing instead of Hinkel because hinkel's positioning sense is terrible and he barely ever goes out the outside of naka always tends to come in unlike caddis who flies up n down the whole game so in my opinion Caddis would be a better option

I would slowly, but surely integrate Caddis into the team, alternating with Hinkel, who is a good player, but is quite slow. It's a shame for Wilson, because he was excellent when he first arrived, but injuries have taken their toll.

No, hopefully he'll get a chance but i'd start with Hinkle. I thought he was pretty good last season and he needs a bit of time to bed in. You don't win 17 caps for Germany and sign for Seville for nothing.

I was impressed with hinkel when he came. Not many goals came from the right side, he was a good crosser and had a great shot with both feet.
But i would use caddis a good bit more and stick wilson on the left to battle with naylor.
still would like a new LB though

Caddis is an outstanding prospect & has not looked out of place when given a chance, I was livid when WGS took him off for Wilson against Barca.

I'd put Hinkle ahead of him for the moment, but I'd put Caddis ahead of Wilson at RB.

Bring him through gradually & he'll get his chances, I'm sure he's in no real hurry.

I'd like to see Caddis given a run, aye. I think he's too forward thinking for Gordon though. He's too prone to support up the wing and overlap.

Having great wing backs seems to be the way forward judging on the euros :/

hopefully Strachan's taking note. Having a little bit of movement about the team generally in any position would be a good bit of progress for us.

We played with two great wingbacks under Burns; McKinlay (then Mahe) and McNamara. Brilliant footie they played too.

Caddis has look excellent in the few games that we've seen him in...we shouldn't be surprised if he starts thinking about moving on if he doesn't get game time soon.

aye those were the days. I'd much rather have that team back to watch every week than have 1 home match in the last 16 per year and 25 other games of pulling teeth, TBH. In fact the combination of Burns and Strachan would pretty much bring about the perfect Celtic team. Let Strachan handle the defence and let Burns handle everything else. Or more to the point, give Burns Boruc, McManus and Hartley and let him get on with it. Nice wee day dream that. RIP.

Pretty sure Mahe was signed by Janson though, was he not?

Lets be straight here! Strachan LOVES overlapping wingbacks. He's always said it and thats the thinking behind buying the likes of Naylor, Wilson, Doumbe, Hinkle * even Mo Camara was encouraged to overlap at every opportunity.

Thats WHY Caddis wont play, IMO. Strachan wants his fullbacks (and midfielders for that matter) primarily to hold their position and keep the teams shape. Which is why we're murder to watch btw, in case anybody hadn't noticed.
