ever had any bad experiences? i have bought a lot online over the past few years, never any real problems, maybe delivery time not right or too much postage being charged, but i bought a new 2nd dvd writer for pc, and on the description it said that it could do light-scribe on dvd/cd's...but when i get it into pc and all wired up goin ok, i realise it cant...the next model up in the range can, but im getting no answer to emails to sellers company and when i call them i get answering machine...just opened a dispute with e-bay/paypal...:31:

p.s anyone live in portsmouth? , that can go round n 'chap' there door??? lol :86:

I don't really use eBay very often. The couple of times that I have it's been fine. I normally buy stuff off play.com and it's great when it comes to quality of products and delivery. Ordered a mp4 player a couple of years back from amazon. It was meant to come in time for Christmas and never showed. I kept emailing them but was getting nothing back. Then in about February, they sent me an email saying they didn't have it in stock and wernt going to have it for another few months. I had enough and just cancelled it:31:

i bought a computer from an online shop and it was just a nightmare. i still have it but one of the ram slots aint working so im stuck to a meg of ram.

they kept getting some joker from a pc hardware fixing company to come fix it and he was clearly not doing what he said he was doing as it was the same problem over and over and still never got it fixed. i think he was taking the parts and selling them on.

    ebay is *

i buy all the time and never had any probs. I stopped using Ebay, someone had hacked into anothers persons account and started buying stuff from me for hundreds of pounds when i was only expecting £30 or something...too easy done i think nowadays

I have had my ebay account hijacked about 3 times. I was getting emails from people about Jeeps! Oil Paintings! and rare pieces :97: I had the devils own job getting in touch with ebay to sort it as I couldn't make the complaint without logging in and it wouldnt let me cos someone changed the password.

It's scary to think that the Paypal can get interfered with:38:

I must admit my whole life is online...pay the bills and buy stuff the lot. I've rarely had any problem. The laptop I'm using right now was bought online and it works brilliantly DELL XPS M1330 :50:
