Levein got further in European Competition than Rodgers did?

He also took us so far behind in other directions that it is unreal, from being able to pick out gems like Van Dijk, Wanyama and co to having absolutely no sense of a forward plan in the transfer market is unreal mate, infact, that’s almost criminal.

But who, mate? Who is that middle ground? Clarke? Not yet proven to be an better than Lenny. AVB? Maybe, but he seems very flaky. It would be risky. I have no doubt our board are looking for exactly that, mate. Let's see how this pans out.

Aye, very true mate. Though Hibs did which is why they hired him in the first place to get the job done.

Let’s be honest. He should of been winning the Championship with the squad they had. Good achievement none the less but they were favourites. Getting 4th the following season was a better achievement, they had a good squad again. I take nothing away from that. I just think Clarke is a better manager, he’s not had the platform Lennon had to show that yet. Lennon had that when he was handed the Celtic job.

Christ in a condom, there's only one manager that can bring us together at this point:

Brink Henrik home for ten in a row. :36:

That’d terrify me to my soul mate, look at the way some of our * fans talk about Lenny, that’s almost too much for me to take. I’d get the jail if they tried to be snide about oor Henke :56:

No, the snake struggled against him as well away..

We can do better than Lenny, without question..

I don't know who we're looking at or all the hidden gems about but that's what we should be doing..

It isn't can't get a top name so Lenny is the man. That's so short sighted and a reason we're flopping on the transfer side of the field at the minute also..

Joking or not.....Henrik aint a manager,i think he knows this himself by sitting back in the last year.

I would hate to see someone that is a hero of the club mess this up,even Lennon.

Im not saying they would mess it up,id just be gutted for a hero to mess it up....yes flipside is,imagine he won it and got the 10.

But hasn’t shown he can compete at that high a level, which Lennon has. The thing people keep on doing is picking out individual things that Lenny has proven he can do and using every other * manager in the world to compare it against.

Fair enough, that’s your opinion, I think if there was someone named something else than Neil Lennon who had a track record of spotting top players, implementing a good scouting network at a club, taking a club in a similar position to us and fairing well in the Champions League, who plays attractive football but knows how to defend, we would be * all over it.

I dunno why adding into that mix knowing how to win personally at Celtic, having a track record of doing that, who would add stability into the club and knows how important the next to years is for us seems to be a turn off for aome people.

That’s just my opinion mate. I find this all absolutely bonkers and if he gets the job, which I’m pretty sure he will, I think those doubting him just now will be wondering why the * they were as well.

I only mentioned Levein because you said he could trouble the snake. Which Levein definitely could as well..

Nah it's because of how his managerial career has gone since leaving us and how we've elevated majorly in that time also..

I've major doubts. The way we've been playing since his change of style and how fatigued we're looking since coming in....has done nothing to change that..

I mentioned it in conjuction with doing better at a higher level. I get judging him on his time at Bolton. He did a fine job at Hibs and it * imploded at the end so I do get that as well. Fair enough those two points.

I think we’ve looked fatigued all season, one of the biggest talking points as Celtic fans has been just why the * did Rodgers overplay us to such an extent that we’re *, * with injuries and slow on the pitch.

Only time that seems to change is when Ryan Christie is fit.

Another point on that as well, I don’t feel like we’ve been majorly elevated since Lenny’s time in charge, I don’t think we ever hit the heights in Europe he did. * even Lenny’s last season we were in the CL and we aren’t now.

I also think we’ve ripped apart our scouting network and don’t show any forward planning as a club whatsoever. It was more structured and organised back then. What Rodgers brought was an absolute bullying mentality in Scotland and utmost professionalism to the Cup Comps. Something that was lacking in Lenny’s time.

He ran player's in to the ground by intense training and giving none of them a break..

KT. McGregor was never injured then got injured. Two of the most played player's in Europe. Broony playing through injuries. Rogic with injections..

    The list is endless..

Thing is, Lenny has came in and put fresh player's in but it still hasn't had the desired effect in our play or our substitutions over the piece..

Aye, I don’t think that fatigue is down to Lenny. Wasn’t him that run KT into the ground or had McGregor the most played player in the world or had Rogic taking injections when we had cover in the squad.

I think this stage of the season, taking that into account, taking all the injuries without a break into account this season, then having one of our most succesfull managers ever leave us that abrubtlt ripping out the coaching staff and leaving like he did... We’re mentally and physically exhausted and he’s making sure we get over the line.

He’s also resolved an issue we’ve been complaining about Rodgers full time in charge - we’re * solid at the back.

We have though mate behind the scene's. Training. Diet. Professionalism. Domination..

Europe was a mark on him no question but everything else he was top drawer..

He brought his pal Congerton in and we all know the start of his snakeyness was long before he left. Wanting to go to China a year ago and the fall out after with the board led to major problems that filtered right through. Before all that though? It was pretty good..

I didn't even bring up Lenny's cup record domestically but even coming back where we had a 100% home record and complete fear factor there, is now no the case at all..
