    Steven Gerrard will get the sack soon - Rangers just can't handle Celtic.

    NL: "Tremendous, a brilliant feeling and I’m really pleased. We played with a lot of attacking intent which I was delighted with and we negotiated a tough game under a lot of scrutiny.

    NL on
    @ryanchristie2
    : "He was conscious at half-time so we are not sure whether it’s a broken eye socket or a fractured cheek bone. The medical team are hoping he’ll be fit for the cup final when it comes around. He's looking at 3/4 weeks out.

    NL on James Forrest: "It was an absolute beauty. What a player he is and there’s so much more to come from him. He’s the same kid I’ve known for ten years and he’s been prolific for me. It was an outstanding goal to set us off."

    NL on Jonny Hayes: "Jonny’s got pace and I like his directness and power. As the game went on, he got stronger and stronger. He won the penalty and was a real constant threat for Aberdeen in the second-half."

    NL on
    @SimunovicJozo
    : "Absolutely fantastic. He’s had a horrific time with injuries, I’ve been trying to manage him through it. I thought he set the tone for the rest of the team. He handled Cosgrove well in the physical battle & showed technical ability

    NL: "There was a lot of pressure going into the game so it was really important to negotiate that off the back of Livingston. It was good to bounce back with a really strong performance."

    * at Hampden but. Folds under pressure but :56:

    Starting to steadily add some of his own style in rather than BR’s.

    Was very effective today.

    * delighted for him today, you can tell that win and performance takes a bit of weight off his shoulders.

    We should still be going through a process at board level, but I hope the fans really rally behind him.

    100x better today.

    Players looked like they had the right kind of bravado and balls walking out onto the park, and boy did they deliver!

    Cheers Neil, that's more like it!

    Lennon has proved himself to be a successful manager in the past at Celtic and is doing so again. If Lennon is not chosen as the the next Celtic manager and it goes * up under a new appointment and * for forbid we blow 10 in a row, a lot of people are going to end up looking very stupid indeed including the Celtic fans who didnt want him. Be very careful what you wish for, we have a proven manager in place now.

    Far far better today, were on the attack from the very start. We'll see how it pans out from here, hopefully push on and finish the season off in style.

    Very good win and I’m glad he is playing our own players before loan ones.

    One of the positives if he gets the job will not be getting loads of loans in.

    As much as I don’t want him further than this season, if he wins the league and cup he will be given the job IMO.

    Loans are not always bad. Edouard is the prime example.

    What? Great result today. Before today, though, his record at Hampden wasn’t good.
