    Hi Paul,
I live just outside Cork City! You would be best off renting a car to travel round Cork!you could visit seaside towns such as crosshaven and kinsale(where there is an arts festival taking place from the 12th to the 20th of july),if your a betting man you could go to curraheen dog track in Bishopstown, just outside Cork City, there is racing every thurs, fri and sat night i think!sporting wise there isn't much on round the 14th of july!there is also a thriving nightlife with high quality nightclubs such as havanas, fast eddie's and reardens! You could visit Fota Zoo if thats your type of thing or even a round of golf in fota island!if your looking to buy some clothes or whatever take a trip to mahon point shopping centre, which is more of a mans place than a womans!lol!:50:

Paul, i cant remember the name of the pub but if you ask any taxi driver where Roy Keane's dad drinks he'll take you there. thats what we did last year and got to meet him, the man is an absolute gem top top bloke and had a great night talking to him.

Tbh, Dublin was mentioned when we decided to book, then it was quickly cast aside :icon_mrgreen: not too fond of the place mate.
