His changes made us worse 2nd half so far...love him and his passion but he definitely isn't the guy who should be in charge next season.... Wonder if all who want him permanent would be happy if his name wasn't NL and he had just left a club he had sitting 8th in the spfl...

This is why I don't want him manager, he invokes a type of frantic play which is totally pish, it was half time, we were controlling the game and the changes wrecked us, make changes 60mins if needed...

Beautiful Sunday - the IRA version
Really awful today tbh - team selection and subs not good.

Reminded me a lot of his previous tenure. Some of the awful games in the cups where we were out-thought tactically.

A large reason why I would be worried about taking him on permanently.

Things should improve when we get mcgregor, rogic Christie back etc but that performance was pretty worrying.

That was awful, starts the game with two strikers on the bench, a winger upfront and plays two holding midfielders in a game we should have been throwing everything at to extend our lead to 10..... 8 shots with 2 on target.... Surely that's our worst attacking stats yet....and it was AT HOME....

He’s had his time here, legend but not the man to take us forward in the long run.

This is what happens when a manager has to take over a team with little games left of the season - unfamiliar with x amount of players and still trying to figure out their best attributes etc.

Lennon will need to learn sharpish and the players will need to get thier fingers out of their arses. Simple.

He could have had Burke out wide on the right with Forrest in the centre and A STRIKER up front .Brown and Henderson in the middle of the park....

Pretty much this in a nutshell. Honeymoon period is now over, time for serious work to be done.

You can tell he’s still leaning heavily on Kennedy and also still experimenting himself on the job.

If it didn't work he would have been slaughtered for putting out a lightweight midfield. I can't help but think the great Brendan Rodgers would have played the same midfield

He would not have panicked and made two drastic changes at half time when we were controlling the game. Play frantic when game is ending and chasing the win, making two changes at halftime unless injured is naive.

If BR taught is anything it is to be patient and the chances will come, this frantic * is not what is needed.

    Yes.

For anyone expecting him to walk in and take over the reigns of a group of players (-3) that he's never worked with before, and be able to win EVERY single game......well, yous are just deluded *.

He's already said he needs to change Rodgers' pragmatic style (which has seen performances like this already this season, as well as results) from the team, and it'll come good.

2 wins and a draw in his opening 3 games against Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen isn't too bad going for walking into a club in the middle of a drama ffs.

Aye could've made it 3 wins out of three but * it, move on, still 8 points clear at the top.

We were controlling the game but never looked like scoring. We looked more of a threat in the 2nd half despite conceding more possession

Plenty of times Rodgers could have done with having a rocket shoved up his *...

I thought his only mistake was bringing on young Micky Johnston and tactically that made perfect sense. Unfortunately the young lad isn't quite ready for games played at that pace.

The problem was too many of our big players (Brown and Boyata excepted) didn't dominate their immediate opponent. Aberdeen are a decent side and their players all raised their game today. The way they play you need someone to beat their man and unfortunately many of our guys who we can usually rely on to do that are out injured and the ones on the pitch (Forrest, Burke, KT, etc) didn't manage to dominate their markers (well, I suppose Eddy did, but his decision making kept giving their cover a chance to get back in).

I don't think that is Lenny's fault TBH.

We never looked like scoring the second half either and look more like conceding.

Edouard should be starting against the top teams in the league when fit.

It’s not like he’s been off form, he smashed in a couple against Motherwell the last home game and got the winner at Hearts..

Strange today for him,sat in dugout a lot, understandably after whats happened, but it wasnt really him and didnt suit him.

Players missing was a downer, but its thrown it open on what he thinks about his future,or what others think.

Love Lenny, something missing today from him though.
