yeah i jumped the gun a bit thinking that he meant stop playing out from the back completely

i guess im kind of nervous of neil trying to fix something that aint broken

thing is about getting the ball forward quicker the fans will love that and we will still dominate in scotland probably will score more goals

but it will do absolutely nothing for us in european football! when we go to play a european side after playing a direct style domestically, they will win possession easily and keep the ball for 5 minutes, having us running around chasing shadows and getting knackered! ofcourse we wont be in the habit of playing possession football anymore, be out of practice and give the ball away cheaply only for the european team to dominate the ball for another 5 mins and on and on this will go

we have seen this before often over the years when scottish teams play at a higher level even in internationals, that is how modern football is played with the emphasis on keeping the ball, the game really is just more chess like nowadays and if you dont learn it then you get spanked

All this playing out from the back talk is chronic, if it's not working and your under pressure just get the baw to * it may be old fashioned or whatever but it works.

Lennon has a better European record than brendan so I doubt we will fall back rather think we will move forward

Great win against a dirty dogged Hearts team.Thinking we started to control the game and get in behind after the first goal.Them getting a player sent off made it harder for us as they just parked the bus then.Thats our hardest game until the split done and dusted.8 in a row looking likely.

Disgraceful attempt at evening things up last night by Sportscene.

The people of Scotland have a real problem with “IRA songs”. Rightly or wrongly they are sung, however they are neither illegal or sectarian. The only thing arguable is are they offensive? The people who are offended most are people who won’t buy green cars, try to grow Kentucky Blue Grass, ban green football boots etc etc. The same people who have ingrained anti catholic and anti Irish bigotry in their core, even the ones that don’t realise it.

Not a mention of the foul filth coming from the Hearts fans last night or at Ibrox, even in their brief highlights I heard them chuntering on about King James and all his Provo Scum? Or whatever it is they shout. Not illegal, but is it offensive?

Apparently not to the BBC except when called out by interlopers from other shores or caught out when a Scotsman gives an interview involving reporters from other shores.

Otherwise they shut up and get on with pandering to their core demographic.

The fact we've had our record ever European defeats playing that way and genuinely walked out of stadiums in embarrassment and shame in the last 2 and a half seasons tells me we cannot continue blindly following trends as opposed to to developing more suitable tactics so we can at least hold up our heads with some sense of dignity when we play outside of Scotland.

I try and avoid whataboutery but it has got to be highlighted that the irony of a club who wear jerseys with "Save the Children" on them and have a large percentage of their support mocking child abuse every time Celtic are in town should in the least be condemned by their club let alone the mass media...we hear zero on this from any source and in particular from their own scummy club.

Mind you expecting the BBC in particular to condone anything to do with child abuse is maybe expecting too much

Down south they have done a look at child abuse in football regarding all clubs but up here they haven’t
They just want to label it a Celtic/catholic problem

Ffs sportscene calling out the Minority celtic away fans singing ira songs. Looking forward to their fortnightly condemning of 40000 huns singing their bile. Which they wont. I condone.all.sectarianism but you cant be selective and nothing will be said about ipox weekly anti catholic bile so you know what until they reign in the huns .sing away celtic fans.until strict liability (at home games) is applied as no club can control away fans we will never stamp it out. Hurting sportscene huns and silent radio shortbread huns speechless at eddy goal lol. Oh their tears are delicious.HH
