    * him. Celtic clearly doesn’t mean anything to him.

If the club meant so much to him he would have stayed until at the absolute least until the end of the season but still would have thought he would have stayed for 10.

As much as we have dominated the domestic front, overall we have been absolutely abysmal in Europe under him.

Since the invincible season our league form has been pretty patchy at times and we have dropped a lot more points than we should have done.

The lack of plan B at times has always frustrated the life out of me.

The constant passing backwards passing showing no urgency when are needing a goal.

His signings overall were dreadful. Say what you want about who was in charge of recruitment but he thought Jack Hendry was the answer to our centre half issues ffs.

A lack of class by Rodgers(he,ll move on and so will we)he could have stayed till the end of the season but he didnt.
What baffles me is why did our board agree to let him go now and leave us searching for an temporary manager and not tell Leicester and Rodgers to wait till the end of the season and Leicester could get a temp in the meantime.

This is a strange decision by the board shows and makes no sense.

In relation to him leaving,he,s gone and good luck to him.But it sickens me to the guts to hear players and managers come to our club and make out this is the club they love and support and then leave in such a manner.

My only hope is he takes Boyata and Izzy with him.

Tomorrow : Hatred and ousting of this board and the way they run us.

Tomorrow Night : Broony and Lenny to rally the troops for the fight.

The longer the day goes on, the more * off with Brendan I am. This will do him no favours. His career will be in tatters when he gets smashed at Leicester. Hard to see how he can improve that aging squad unless he's been promised hundreds of milions to spend. Fool.

Apparently the board didn’t want to accept but Brendan had a word and asked to speak to them.

Defence hasn't been "bad" in ages. Honestly are folk just used to saying that? We've conceded 3 goals this year, two of them were against a superior side in a game where the whole team played * and Paul the tims pal was starting in defence, and the other speaks for itself. The guy has stayed at the club, took first team training and was willing to take up the full job for a game tomorrow night.

He was clearly visibly shaken by it, if that done that to him then what is the Celtic job going to be like?

Is Congerton in charge of the PR department too?
We’ve been caught with our trousers down today and having a * Hearts fan as head of the PR Department doesn’t help.
The media have been one step ahead all day and Lawwell gets “door stepped” in the car park and blusters his way through.
“We are waiting to hear from Leicester”
    Are we?
Tell the barge dwelling turnip horse n cart bumpkins to * off and Rodgers too for wanting to speak with them.

    Next.....................

Guys we are all gutted that Rodgers has walked out on us when we are within touching distance of a triple treble but if an employer offered to double your wages , give you five times your transfer budget and offered you the opportunity to live in a city where you and your family could go about your business without half the city want selfies with you and the other half wanto hurl abuse at you .
Yeah the timing is * * and we wanted more loyalty and he has gone to an inferior club but can bankroll his ambition .

IF its true then surely the board have been very poor in their handling of this?

Rodgers is under contract with us and we had the rite to say no wait till the end of season. Why would they agree to us been with out a manager when the could have delayed this till the end of the season.

Ok Rodgers would be * off but so what ,he,s under contract with us and we saw the same thing with boyata and he wasnt allowed to go and i presume Rodgers was happy with him staying as he had no problem playing him afterwards.

I have no issuse with the guy leaving (i never liked him)but i think the way he and the board went about it is a real kick in the teeth for fans and perhaps a lesson to us all not to take to new players or managers just because they talk the talk.
