A real Celtic supporter does not abandon the club halfway through the season and doesn't leave 2 years away from a potential 10-in-a-row....and please dont give me your 'attraction of the English Premiership' *. A real Celtic man does not do that. He had the opportunity to be a Celtic Legend, 'The man who guided Celtic to 10-in-a-row' but turned it down for Leicester City. Celtic through and through? Alarm bells were ringing when Rodgers said he didnt know what the fans were singing with the 'Brendan Rodgers here for 10 in a row' song, he didnt realize 10 in a row was a big deal. Every true Celtic supporter on Earth knows what 10 in a row would mean, and how important it is. Its looking like Lennon will be in charge till the end of the season. In terms of being a Celtic supporter Lennon is the real deal, Rodgers clearly isnt and he has shown that with his actions. Rodgers may be a better manager than Lennon (although Lennons record in Europe far exceeds anything Rodgers did), but in terms of being a man, I have a far higher respect for Lennon than I will ever have for Rodgers.

That's the bitterest pill to swallow he's conned, everyone, he's that much of a Celtic man he will jump in his bed tonight and sleep like a log.

 

I never liked him as much as most people do. Cant set up a defence, cant stand up against the board, used the club to get his pal Congerton a job and was a total hypocrite regarding the Dembele and Boyata cases. I am glad to see him and his poor man's tiki taka gone. To think that people here were putting him in a pedestal among the Celtic greatest just because he is very good at beating teams much worse than us.
But I am also sad that the board will also shove those six million up their tory arses and hire yet another completely unambitious and out of its depth replacement as they usually do (I am not talking about Lennon). While Rodgers leaving is no disaster, the timing couldnt have been worse.
