Pavyluchenko looked very good although reportedly at £6 million before the tournament that value can only go up. Afraid he must be a goner and if Arshavin wasnt so greedy he couldve had even more and increased his value further.

On the note of possibly available, I thought their left back made Naylor look like Mo Camara. Brilliant delivery (apart from once or twice), set up the crucial first goal with a great run and was up and down that line aaaaaaallll game.

Sorry to see your favourite Larsson beaten that way, but we Russians desrved that game vs. Holland much more. Hope nobody'll deny that Russia plays much more attractive football than all Scandinavs summed together.

Another sorry is that you're not going to see Pavlyuchenko in green and white uniform, ever. Russian clubs have more money than Scottish, and we already have a limit for foreign players FIFA is going to introduce everywhere. So Russian players are getting good salaries, and clubs are very reluctant to sell them, even for good European price. Probably, Barcelona will have more luck with him than you

As the matter of fact, Zhirkov is a winger. Hiddink uses him in defence because we don't have a decent attack-minded left back. Recently, CSKA was offered 10 megaeuros for Zhirkov, and this offer is going to be declined, so be ready to pay 12-15 mln.

 

First of all thanks for the info and its a great shame that we've been priced out of many of the Russian players. There are some quality players there, like the guys mentioned and you play fantastic attacking football. All the best against the dutch.
