Eddy came on a similar loan deal and after impressing was snapped up less than a year later. So I wouldn't read too much much into the initial six month deal, it's up to him to impress.

Still very young though, but seems mature enough for that age, looking forward to see him play.

    Welcome TIM!

The only downsides to the Weah/Burke signings are that both are only 6 month loans. I hope at least one of them is kept on next season, even if that means another loan deal.

Focusing purely on the short-term, both players give a bit of extra oomph to our attack. Burke is a big, physical player who, while he can be clumsy on the ball, can cause real problems when he runs at defenders. Don't know much about Weah but he looks a bit more nimbe than Burke and more intelligent.
Either way, both will provide much needed competition for places and means we're not so reliant on Edouard, Sinclair and Forrest in forward areas. It's also positive that we still seem to be chasing another striker.

Ideally we'll also sign a right-back in this window, and ship a good few players out, but I'm glad we've got a couple of deals done early doors.

He was stuck behind Chupo Moting whatever the * he's called. Non entity they signed from Stoke to fill a place in their squad. Not very encouraging, but I'll keep an open mind and see how he fares in Hoops. The possibility of it extending beyond 6 months is a big plus.

He's scored 2 goals in 3 appearances for PSG this season, scoring in both the league and the cup. Every single sign about him is very impressive.

Reckon it'll be him and Eddie up front in a 3-5-2 or; Édouard - Weah - Forrest, as a three?

That's some insane pace up top either way!

At the least he gives us a striker when we really are lacking depth right now. It may just be forbthe rest of the season but it fills a need

Says all the right things anyway. Good head on his shoulders. A wee pal for Eddy too.
