Has Majic done a dissappearing act?

Although, you've made a valid point, I must admit that you are not discussing anything new in here. So far, every week we've had separate topics on Zurawski’s performance, all the same *. I am sure, I am not the only one to agree that he does not deserve that much attention. He is not the only person on the team, and neither is he the most valuable team member. Why don’t we keep all Zurawski comments in one topics, and that way you guys can keep bickering between yourselves until the cows come home. This will avoid having three-four Zurawski topics discussing pros and cons of his performance.

I sincerely apologize if I have offended anyone (especially our Polish friends). I did not intend this to play out as a nationality thing. I was just venting my frustration towards someone who at the present time is underachieving. Let's turn our focus towards the upcoming old firm match.

 

booster sir, it's not my intention to start a war here, so I'll shut up after this post, but I do feel the need to make a point or two first.

What I've got to say may not be new, but please note that I am actually responding to other people's posts, not's not like I am starting new topics. And excuse me, but when I see a topic badmouthing Maciej undeservedly, I WILL respond. It is not in MY power, or any other than the moderators to limit the number of threads on Zurawski.

Maybe a good solution would be to make one sticky thread so all the Zurawski opponents and proponents could have a go at expressing their views there.

Secondly, Zurawski may not be the most valuable Celtc player in your opinion, but he is a Celtic player and he is a mighty important player to a lot of people who now frequent this forum. It might not be to your liking, but I would request of you the same understanding that you apparently request from us.

To make it short sir, I respect your point of view (even though I disagree) I just hope you respect mine as well.

THEREALDEAL, absolutely no offence taken, I simply feel it's no good to make references to nationality (or skin color, etc.) when discussing any given player, though it's sometimes (like in this case) hard to avoid it.

Listen, don't put words in my mouth. I understand the importance of Zurawski as a part of the team. I said he's not the most important, but I did not say unimportant. As of now, he's not made a big impact, yet.
I do wonder, however on how many other ways are you guys going to tell us about how:
1. Zurawski needs time to settle in
2. Zurawski is shy
3. Zurawski will brake through just like in NT as well as his old club Wisla Krakow
4. Zurawski's five hundred million videos (posted five hundred million times) show he's a world class player, thus it proves can't play *
5. Zurawski needs support of his team-mates
6. Zurawski needs to learn English
7. Zurawski is played out of his natural position
.........and on and on.

I am in no way bashing him, as I am a big fan of his!

not really. until he performs in a celtic shirt i couldnt give a * how he performs elsewhere!

a natural goal scorer in my mind i guess is like a larsson who just appears amongst the best of defences and scores "against the odds". just my view of it and what i think makes the game so exciting. i assume this is the "fox in the box"? good way to put it re: fox.

The guys who do not like Zurawski's play in Celtic are right. And so do I. Therefore I suggest GS - put Magic on the bench. It will help the team, it will help Maciek himself!!!!! He will recover more quickly if he plays 20, 30 minutes from the bench indeed. YES- I think his real problem is - he is not ready to be a big international star. He is continuously under stress and is playing obviously beaneath his skill level. Unlike Nakamura who is just the kind of the STAR type- playing with ease and a lot of "watch me what I can do" tricks.
All those who want Zurawski's success in Celtic should think for a while and change their attitude from the continous defence of his position in the starting line. He needs time- everobody knows this. Even his opponents. But what Munich Fan and others say is true- he must earn his place in the first squad.He must get angry to show his real skills. He must burn the grass with his speed and aggresiveness. Otherwise he will always play crap - worried to lose his position. Because his illness is as above - "WORRIED TO LOSE HIS POSTION". And it should be the end of the thread(s). Nobody will listen to more "he is a great player" bullshit any longer unless he shows it on the field.
