GTA IV

I Bought GTA IV when it was released for the 360. I played it a couple of times and was so bored. Anyone else think it is a big letdown.

 

Playing it just now on the 360, 30% completed, i do think it is a bit over rated, but still good for a laugh, to be honest it is pretty much the same as the last 2 games in terms of gameplay, i will stick with it just now until i complete it, dont think its a game you will go back and play again.

It's over rated in my view, offline is far to short and after its finished there isnt much to do, unlike in san adreas there was always something fun to get into lol the hydra being one, or the gym being the other lol or a jet pack ride into area 52 lol i could go on, gta4's only saving grace is the online mode's wich i think get overlooked, yeah it can be teadious with a bunch of randoms but so much fun with a group of lads you know, i esp like the gta race where you start by having no car and ya gotta fight to get in one first and make your way across all the islands to the finish line..well good.

 

I hate the story mode

Story mode took me ages to complete lol and am still new to the online mode seems ok so far.

 

Overhyped, decent game mind you, graphics are really good, i think its brilliant online though, the races where you start off with no vehicle is the best

 

its no bad, i think it just seems a let down, because people are expecting it to be better than San Andreas, and thats just not possible.

one of the best games of all time.
