to sell a player who didnt want to be a the club for 1m and to even contemplate buying him back at the cost of 3/4m because he isnt good enough for down south is absolute lunacy!

Agreed. * "wee Shaun". He did a Liam Miller and now he's suffering for it. I'll support him in Scotland colours, but I don't want to see his Judas body in the Hoops again. Poor wages wasn't an adequate excuse for leaving. He can rot in the Midlands. Does he think after a foray down south, he can run home and have his belly rubbed, all the while costing our club 3M in the process? I'd rather burn the portion of money I'd contribute, than see it going in Villa's pocket for a JUDAS *.

you need to accept forgiveness into your heart my son :86: Forgive our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us. The last bit includes wee Shauns tresspass against Celtic. You and the other angry young men can do it. You know you can. Just think.. what would Jesus do faced with the maloney transfer situtation and there you will find your answer.
    our wee shaun
    who art in brimingham
    hallowed be thy wingplay
    thy shall return
    thy goals will come
in parkhead as they did in 06
    give the brummys 3 million
and lead him not into greyskull

What a load of pish..... he professes himself to be a forward, who doesnt score goals!!! he played on the wing for 1 good season other than that he has been nothing more than average..

to pay aston villa 3 times what we recieved 18 months after he cut celtics throat would be absolute financial and footballing suicide. Why pay 3 million for someone who isnt actually going to play in the 1st team????? he would be a sub

Like u said mcgeady wont be around forever..... but why have someone sitting in the stands on the off chance mcgeady might leave in 1, 2 or maybe even 3 years.... by which point maloney might be due a new contract

McCormack for nothing or Maloney for est 3 or 4 million is a no brainer if you ask me!!Both would only be squad players so for a nominal fee and much smaller wages also 4 yrs younger then McCormack has to be the better option imo.Maloney left cos we wouldn't pay him what he was wanting so we were forced to sell at a knock down price of £1m so why 18mths l8r would we be willing to now pay 3 or 4 times what we sold him for and also now give in to his over inflated wage demands when hes not exactly set the heather alight down south has he?i liked him as a player but do we really think hes been missed?
