Poor wages wasn't an adequate excuse for leaving. He can rot in the Midlands. Like u said mcgeady wont be around forever..... but why have someone sitting in the stands on the off chance mcgeady might leave in 1, 2 or maybe even 3 years.... by which point maloney might be due a new contract

McCormack for nothing or Maloney for est 3 or 4 million is a no brainer if you ask me!!Both would only be squad players so for a nominal fee and much smaller wages also 4 yrs younger then McCormack has to be the better option imo.Maloney left cos we wouldn't pay him what he was wanting so we were forced to sell at a knock down price of £1m so why 18mths l8r would we be willing to now pay 3 or 4 times what we sold him for and also now give in to his over inflated wage demands when hes not exactly set the heather alight down south has he?i liked him as a player but do we really think hes been missed?
