Does anyone know when Celtic are releasing their 17/18 figures?

    2016... Released Mon 19th Sept 2016
    2017... Released Wed 20th Sept 2017
    2018... ?

Will be interesting to see if we are now a 9 figure revenue club breaking the £100m barrier? Last year (16/17) full year revenue was £91m. Half year 17/18 revenue upto 31st December was £71.5m as released in the interim report earlier this year.

Will also be interesting to see how many season tickets were sold in the 17/18 season. 16/17 season shows 48,723. All we were told was over 50,000 for season 17/18.

The report must be due out over the next few days I would have thought?

Don't give a * considering we don't use any of the money to invest in the whole reason that the accounts are so good. The * players.
Where's the cold weather training facility that was promised 2 years ago?
Or the CB that we have needed for THREE * YEARS?.

If the results are as expected going to be better than previous years then I don't expect they'll publish the accounts with the same fanfare in previous years given how poorly we conducted ourselves in the summer's transfer window and that we bombed out the Champions League. I'm sure they're aware that will go down like a lead balloon.

I suspect they will probably leave it until Friday once the game against Rosenborg is out of the way. If we win tomorrow night then this will soften the news from the report. If we draw or lose tomorrow night and then announce 9 figure revenue figures and record profits Friday morning, I agree that's not going to go down very well.

"For season 2018/19, everyone at the Club was disappointed not to qualify for the Group Stages of the Champions League. As we shared the successes of the last two seasons, we share in that disappointment, but given the Club's strategy over many years we have financial reserves to rely upon as we continue to look to the future with ambition and optimism."

Over £17m in profit and we couldn’t buy a decent centre back, mental.

Our transfer strategy of 1 transfer, 2 loans and a bosman with a net transfer surplus of circa £20 million to add to the net cash at bank less 'debt & debt-like items' of £27 million.

All those fat stacks in the bank and we couldn't spend a modest sum on a RB and CB that would've likely seen us qualify for the Champions League.

    Aye, ambitious.

It's actually sickening seeing us with that much money in the bank after the transfer window we've just had.

Just off the back of a double treble and we only needed a few quality additions to all but guarantee champions league football this season. Yet we fail to strengthen and end up weaker than we went into the window even though we have cash to burn.

Could have doubled that profit if we only had the ambition to push the boat out a bit and back the guy that's won us back to back trebles.
