Better be signifcant funds spent in January to bed in for next summer, so were no scrambling about the transfer window like this one just past.

I loved the big guy but his attitude and all that twitter * has scunnered me.

We are not "spending big" in January. Loan and a pre contract.

 

Well you know that old saying "be careful what you wish for" he may find out the grass isn't always greener. We forgave him some poor shows and ignored his chocolate hamstrings. The French may not be so forgiving!

 

Good player for us but on the flip side im glad were not stuck with him till january sulking and affecting our other players if what was said yesterday about not even engaging with any the players at training is true....hes not bigger than the badge and we have a game to prepare for....so good riddance we dont need a big sulking wane around the boys.

 

I don’t think the board done a thing wrong. The only person wrong in my imo was Dembele for what he done on twitter and at training. Him leaving on deadline day is no good for us , it was inevitable he was gonna go thats not the point ... if this was a few weeks back i dont think for a second we would have knocked it back as we would have been able to replace him but the board rejecting the offer at such a late stage and asking him to wait until it suits not only him but us too was correct if you ask me.

100%. Its a shame aswell cos its left a sour taste in a few peoples mouths with the way hes went to push the transfer through.
