    To be honest I was expecting him to be sold this window, last summer I thought Edouard was brought in to be his replacement if it worked out. Possible loan striker from Man City and buy a new one in January or June. £20m would be a lot for a guy who seems a bit injury prone and also cost us little money. I would think maybe part of the deal would be to loan Cornet or Gouiri from them would be very good.
    If a team like Lyon came knocking I think he would go, they get regular Champions League football.

    There wasn't. We had sold Fraser Forster the season before and spent zilch. Very similar, in terms of bleakness.

    The modern day Celtic support hasn't the baws to do anything. Look at the wee rebels in the corner - they're the biggest joke in Parkhead if they don't challenge Peter Lawwell tomorrow night.

    They were in the Champions league 2016-17. Also with France having 3 guaranteed Champions league spots they will be more likely to get group stage football than ever before. Celtic can win the league and not be there. Lyon also has far far more money than Celtic.

    Aye there is, we have come off the back of two treble winning seasons, got a good manager and going for 10 in a row.

    We have between 30-40 million in the bank and should be signing players to cement that and getting into the groups of the champions league as well.

    If we don’t sign anyone else in this window fans will turn, if we end up losing the league and Rodgers I would hate to think what would happen.
