Buy his replacement?? You are aware what our board is like when it comes to releasing money for "transfers" ? We don't have any coin to give/spare/spend on strengthening our playing roster.

 

What is a golden time for all of us to enjoy. We have success both on and off field. Money made and banked. The other lot in all sorts of crisis one day to the next. Yet, something like this comes along and spoils the great time we are all suppose to be enjoying. Runs like this don't come along to often. What a * of the last few days.

In all honesty I would sell him for £5m regardless of the time left on his contract, he's just not that good and a few decent performances at the WC won't convince me otherwise. That would be provided the £5m would actually be used to replace him of course.

Was on the stadium tour the day with my son, got into the home dressing room, first team kit is all laid out (tops anyway) however there were two notable absecences. Boyata and Compper! Every other first team squad members jersey was there! Read into that what you will! Those two are offski.

Technically that pair are 'injured' - if Nero's jersey was there then that might be more telling; if not may not be anything significant in it other than just not in the squad to play PT

Be happy for neither to be here when the window closes - nothing against Compper other than better just to cut him loose at this point and spend the money elsewhere; Boyata can't possibly play again for Celtic, even if we're 'stuck' with him come close of window; even if he can regain acceptance within the team (which might be a hard sell), the fans would be completely unforgiving.

 

Is he still here, the way he's treated Celtic after us keeping faith and reserecting his career is doing my nut in.
