    Caulker at Dundee could be a good fit..Quality but then suffered with injuries down south before heading north and showing his worth again.He was in the England set up whilst at Spurs and still only young for a CH

    That's why he is a professional GK. Passing is secondary at best for a keeper, because he is the last line of defense- the last hope a team has to not concede. All the traits that help with that are important. Passing can be done by outfield players.

    Also, people seem to ignore an alternative to passing the ball with the foot. Throwing. Very useful for counterattacks. Beiranvand from Iran is great at this, and is also an excellent shot stopper.

    With the prospect of Boyata going for 9m I went to check if the guy I wanted to replace him, Matt Miazga, was still available. He joined Nantes (from Chelsea) on loan with an option to buy ONE * hour ago. :56: That sort of deal would've been perfect for us. :54:

    Mentioned him earlier but we should go all in for Almamy Toure at RB. Looks like Monaco are looking to sell as he wants first team football and is into the final year of his deal. Got some return for a RB considering how good he is defensively, 5 goals and 13 assists in 50 Ligue 1 games.



    Pretty sure he's got French nationality by now as well. :84:

    How many games did Ajer and Boyata play together last season? That partnership is still strong on paper, an new RB would make that a very solid back 4. With 3 at the back though it's either Jozo and Hendry to come in, and that is just unacceptable for European games. Maybe a right back who can play center back?

    We already have Lustig for that role.

    For what it's worth, imo we don't need a RB. I doubt we 'll find a better wing back than Gamboa. Not for the money we'd be willing to spend anyway.

    I think Rodgers wants 4 players. 2 replacements for Armstrong and Roberts and then 2 defenders.
