The Greek lads on this forum have better English than most of us.

    Just cant get enough
Why could they not have waited till the end of next week to make the draw anyway?
Timing seems a bit strange to me.

That way teams would only have a few days to work out travel, sell tickets etc. This way they can pretty much prepare as soon as the tie ends

Yep, that's sheer hypocrisy in my book.

This is a gross generalization. What you are basically saying is that the vast majority of the AEK ultras are happy to see their club sell out for money/success. Last time I checked, this isn't exactly the definition of a left-wing club.

Anyway, feel free to believe whatever you want mate. I disagree with many things that you 've written, but this is a forum about Celtic, not Greek politics. Let's just agree that there are indeed many self-proclaimed leftists among the AEK ultras and leave it there.

Again - my exceptionally clear definition of the Greek left described precisely how they are hypocritical and not genuine communists when it suits them. You said you disagree with many things - I pretty much think you have mislead the forum here by stating AEK is not a left club - as I stated - that is the only reason I got involved. I think what you are struggling with severely is the idea of the Greek left and how you think leftists should act when confronted with money - which tells me you are some kind of ideologue out of touch with the Greek political reality and even humans in general. I also disagree with the 'many' AEK leftists. Original 21 are a left wing organisation. Not centrists and not right wing. Previous managers of AEK have described the club as a left wing club as well as countless others across all spectra. However, we will leave it here unless you have second thoughts and wish to continue - I will be ready.

Ffs you 've practically agreed that the vast majority of the AEK ultras are willing to sell out for money/success. Is this a left-wing club for you?

Please no more political analysis. I'm pretty sure no one here cares to know about the relations between KKE (the Greek Communist Party) and Syriza (Greece's ruling party). Not to mention, the whole conversation has nothing to do with AEK/Celtic/left-wing football clubs in general.

For me? They are leftists for themselves, for most Greeks and for most neutral outsiders. It is only you that is dictating to them how they should act as leftists - to fit your idea of what leftists should do concerning the owner of their club. They don't consider letting Tiger own their club as selling out. They still vote communist, they still believe Greece should welcome refugees, embrace multiculturalism - they still have giant Pavlos Fyssas banners - antifa banners - pro Palestinian banners daily etc. They also have sympathies for anarcho-communist violence as it represents a fight against the 'system' as they put it. They are also tied in with unions and NGOs. They are the classic left wing club - just like Livorno.

This is now the second time you say this. :32:You had a chance to walk away but chose to come with more nonsense and I promised I would still be here to contradict it in full. This will not go away. AEK is a leftist club and they are proud of that fact. If you try and change that soup to suit your own ideology you will get called on it and all the complaining in the world wont rescue you as you chose to build your house on sand concerning this issue and not facts. A better game to play in this forum is saying PAO is a left wing club. That one is debatable. PAO has massive sympathies for the left and their the terraces at the Leoforo are drenched in marijuana smoke and Palestinian scarves - but there is still an element of the right at PAO unlike with AEK. Political analysis proves AEK's leftist ethos. In fact the club is proud of this ethos.

Actually - these are the reasons AEK is leftwing and it makes sense you seek to dismiss them. If you are so sure no one cares - you know where the door is - in fact you stated you had already walked through it. However - with the severity of fable you spun about AEK - as I stated before - this is going no where until you desist with the fabrications. This issue will not go away until then. Again - we can leave it there, but somehow I see another post coming! :52: I will be here ready to tell Celtic fans the truth about their next opponent. The Celtic fan was correct to identify AEK as a left wing club on here (as were countless AEK managers and commentators) and I have further explained to him and others why he was correct. What you are trying fudge and why you are trying to fudge it - I have no idea.. the left is hugely powerful in Greece - has been since the King of Greece was shot in the back by a Greek communist in the newly liberated Salonika in 1913.

You made a mistake today and got called out. It happens to the best of us. Just picked the wrong battle. It happens. We can give these poor Celtic boys a rest from this if you wish - however something tells me you ready for more!

Not under the new system. With the new system, teams are only awarded CC points during the qualifying stage when they get eliminated from Europe (i.e., from Europa League, since all teams eliminated from CL qualifying move to the next EL qualifying round). The number of CC points earned increases with each qualifying round.

Cliffs Notes: Wins/draws are now completely irrelevant for CC points in qualifying rounds.

I'm always a nervous wreck with these qualifiers. Constantly looking up who these other teams have knocked out before and how much they've spent on players and stuff.
To be honest, not in an arrogant way, but the other teams should be * themselves from us... Double treble winners with literally some of the best young talent about in our team. Our issues in defence worry me a bit though.
