There's some good players to be fished out the championship etc... look at the likes of Kazeem Richards, let go by sheffeild utd, he's now banging them in all over europe for fenherbache...... don't under estimate a good buy! Harry Redknapp style.

 

Bit of realism required I think weetim, top top players don't want to be playing the likes of aberdeen, st mirren week in week out just on the off chance that celtic might get through the group stages of the CL.

 

I fear us spending £15 million on a load of £3 million donati standard players.

I hope we dont pay the £3 million for Samaras. He's a decent enough player, but for that sort of money I'd be wanting a regular first team player.

maybe he was a bad example, but there's definitely good players to be found. any established top quality players just won't come to scotland to play. I only think we can get duff, keane etc cos they're Celtic supporters and know what it is to play for Celtic. Imagine trying to get berbatov to sign for us? he is last 8 CL quality and if it's that kind of player you're expecting then it just ain't gonna happen. we'd probably be lucky to tempt Peter crouch or Jermaine defoe who i would say are just off the pace of the last 8 in the CL.

 

Should go for a Ronaldinho Mcdonald pairing up front. I think they could really compliment each other and Ronaldinho would learn a lot from Skippy.

I very much doubt any of those players would play with us in the SPl in the peak of their careers, except maybe duff in his bad form atm
