    And for good or worse, parts of Dublin can sometimes seem like the capital of many another different nation.

    Lot of Russians all over Ireland too and their links go back a little longer with the Irish Republic than most, as a new state themselves Soviet Russia was the first and only state to recognize the Proclamation of the Irish Republic of 1916 during the Versailles Peace Conference.

    Only if the winners are Croatia. I don't fancy Russia although they proved against Spain they can disrupt an attacking team even though Spain were horrendous, they could make it hard work for England.

    I'd be very surprised if Croatia can't work out a way around the Russian 'catenaccio'. Mind you, they started well responding against Denmark then the game just melted into the ground, was very strange.

    Croatia are a genuine contender, they have to step up.
