Some people here would have you believe that Everton are some * wee club like Hearts and others that they are sleeping giants who are the closest thing to Celtic in England. :56:
If he goes there, it'll neither be a great move for his career nor a terrible one.

He should stay for the 10 and then go or stay with our blessing as he sees best.

Brendan's comments? Well it's true he's not actually wrong and that he didn't say anything that bad; but this is the second time in less than a year he's broken the usual policy of not making the media privy to things we don't need them to know in order to chat at length about the availability of one of our biggest assets. Once can be a slip; but Brendan's far too smart to make that sort of mistake twice and Lawwell is far too smart to let him. This can't be a mistake, this is definitely strategic.

What their strategy actually is, we can only speculate; but on the face of it, it really does look like we are looking to sell at least one of them for big money. I'd rather it was Dembele TBH.

When I think of Everton I think of Seamus Coleman. I admire his loyalty to them but has he fulfilled his potential there?

I don't think so because I've thought for years he's a top CL side quality player.

I would imagine you will follow KT through his career as he’s one of us.

The only redeeming factor if he goes imho is, he will come back home at some stage, hopefully not too late.

I don't mean that I wouldn't give a single * about him, I'd obviously wish him all the best and if I saw him pop up every now and again I'd keep an eye on him, but to be honest I'd be far more interested in whoever's at Celtic, rather than who's not.

Only one I can really say I followed after he left Celtic was Larsson.

Yes I agree, however everyone in their right mind know that Moussa will be away pretty darn soon, whilst Griff can be here for a long time.

If the club does cash in big time on any of the players I can't see them reinvesting it in the team.

    I disagree.

The board aren't stupid - they know that if they do not invest at least a decent chunk of any extremely high transfer fee they risk the wrath of the fans, then they risk the possibility of losing Rodgers, which will then in turn even further anger the support.

Theres so much goodwill around the club at the moment

for the first time in a long time the board and the supporters seem to be on the same page, ambitious but also recognizing realities and for the most part the board and lawell have done great job in gaining the trust back over the past two seasons with BR and all the things happening at the club

this "transfer" has the potential to * all of that out the window, especially if it were to transpire that KT was pushed towards the exit and BR was complicit in it

If he is sold then * the board and * the manager if he was in on it. Sell any other player and its business, sell our tierney and its the equivalent of selling the heart of the team and support for a quick buck. * the board.

If Tierney moves it’ll be because he wants to leave. It’ll be a huge disappointment when he does.

Everton have turned into just another club down there with the new owner throwing dosh about, if KT were to go I think he would be better suited getting a move abroad. Would we get as big a fee probably not but he would become a better player imo.

Everton are a big club playing in one of the best leagues in Europe. That and the increase in wages(yes money does talk) and possibly using Everton as a stepping stone to something bigger would appeal to any player playing up here. He has a tough decision to make however going by what he has said in the past, being a Celtic fan and the appeal of 10 in a row will keep him here for the next few seasons at least

See tbh if a bid of 30-40 mil came in, i think the decision would be made for him.
