Was in on Friday. Decent but bit of a sweatfest when it was busy and the sun beating in. Pretty sure they also charge more for Guinness than Peroni which is £5.30 itself ...

Was in O'Neills in Merchant Square on Saturday, went by this new pub and it looked busy as. Looking for somewhere new round that way anyway. Always found it weird at O'Neills how people will ask to sit at your table if a couple of seats extra. Usually I am not arsed, but never really had that in many other pubs.

Always thought Failte was the best Irish pub, used to frequent Molly Mallones as it was cheap for Guinness and a good pint.

Pints in Failte were nearly as bad as the ones in McChuills which is the worst pint in Glesga.

What's the verdict on this place then? I'm in Glasgow on Saturday, staying up by Sauchiehall street, and was wanting to go watch the Swedes pump England - is it worth trekking to? Or would I be better watching the game somewhere closer to where I'm staying?

I watched the France/Argentina game there on Saturday.

It was good, loads of massive tellies so you can see from anywhere in the pub even when it’s rammed which it was on Saturday.

I didn’t find it as dear as some were saying either; 2 pints and 2 bird drinks was 14 quid. If anything that’s cheap for Merchant City.

I was in on Saturday again & was a cracking atmosphere! Sat outside most of the day, but enjoyed it.

    Fulla milfs.

Cheers lads. Will check it out if I get to Glasgow in enough time. Won't be able to crack on with the milfs though as I'm going with a new lady friend :56:

i hadnt heard this song for a while , but as i walked into the "Corner Bar " in Edenederry it was playing. I wonder if plastic Irish pubs will play music like it, not as in Rhebs but as in real Irish folk music

Heard that played in many Tim boozers over the years in Glasgow.

One of my old bhoys favourites.
