Concussions can be weird. Lot of the time you’re just * and have no idea you are. I’ve had a couple in my life and it’s the weirdest * feeling.

 

I agree entirely - I've boxed and I've played Rugby and been concussed doing both. You start the bout / match, get your concussion, don't know you're concussed, and the next thing you're aware of is the bell / whistle going for full-time and you're wondering where the * time went. I've also been ko'd - that's a whole different universe of * weird!

I still think Karius's claim is highly dubious and plenty embarrassing though!

 

Same mate, it’s plausible though. It’s a bonkers feeling.

Look at that boy who got a sore yin in the workd cup final a few years ago, tried to take the armband from Lahm and asked the ref it was the final

 

I can assure you from experience that Mass General is one of the best hospitals in the country and they wouldn't fabricate claims.

 

Concussion would be a good excuse if Karius wasn’t a complete diddy.

I'm sure you're right. There's a difference between 'fabricating' and agreeing that a concussion 'was possible'. He did look shell-shocked - and with very good reason - he single-handedly blew a CL final.

 

No wonder slippy went there, they're more and more like each other with each passing day

Sometimes you don't notice though. Head trauma is difficult to speculate on because it different for all people and effects them in different ways.

If he did notice, my sympathies for him would be withering. If he didn't, well, what happened happened.

Calls for a replay are ridiculous though. Bale came on and made a big impact. He came on with a point to prove, and concussion or not I think he's got the quality to go out there and prove it. World class. Karius, not world class; only way his name and world class should be in the same sentence.

Karius without a concussion: at least 2-1 to Real Madrid either way.

With (or without) a concussion, as it stands, 3-1.

Ramos is a proper * but if I were a fan of Real I wouldn't be complaining... Be saying "our *" n all

Calls for a replay is just rediculous tbh , never gonna happen.He should have never been on the pitch so it their own fault. The fact that there was no surprises at his performance (whicle playing with a concusion) and that his poor display was not an out of place oddity just shows you he isnt the greatest of keepers.
