A Quick ,Powerfull and Athletic CB preferably should be the next french target after Eduoard either that or Right Back.. someone young enough for Rodgers to work his magic on.

 

While we're on the subject, has anyone watched that doc on the French national team on Netflix? Fella at work reckons its very good.

 

It's not just french players Rodgers is looking at although all 3 Dembele' Eduoard and Ntcham it has to be said is an outstanding bit of business by the club i wouldn't like to guess their value in the future if they keep progressing the way they are.

But Rodgers looks close to home too in Hendry and young Morgan is coming in too this season snapping up the best young talent dont know how they'll do but they are working with the best.

 

I can see him staying this season, but a lot depends on champions league qualification aswell.

 

It’s within the business model but without hurting the squad, this is what Ronny should have had to work with but the board * him over imo.

 

Think the fact the Ntcham and possibly Eduard will be here next season he may want to stay. Would love one more season from him here with us.

 

Ref * Ronny over for a treble too , maybe for the best the way it's worked out don't think he had it anyway we where never getting into CL with Ronny either.

 

We NEED to offer him a new deal this summer even I feel it’s to make him top earner. The guy is our focal point and far too valuable to allow him to move into the last year of his contract.

Worst case scenario is he says no and we can still move him on for big money with a great bond with the fans still intact.

 

Last year I said I’d be happy to have him for one more year. That was a lie, really don’t want to see him leave this summer.

 

Apparently there has been some change to the English transfer window that will stop us being able to keep players for the whole qualifying campaign, they must be closing it earlier.

Media are saying this will force us to make a decision on any interest, obviously before we know our fate in Europe.

Course this only comes in to play if it's an English club going for him, European deadlines remain the same.

 

He's getting stronger and his all round game is improving. It would be a blow to lose him but you can't but help feel that we've made certain promises to him and his refreshing management team..

So it now closes after the first leg of the penultimate qualifying round, for English clubs.

 

See Moussa by the way, what a professional he has been for the last two years. Really a player of his reputation, hype etc usually has a big head and thinks hes too good for everybody. Been a real class act here and never made noises about leaving and also very rarely speaks to the scottish media. Hes been a class act.

 

Why has this happened?

 

They want to have their window closed before the season starts, so teams are settled and not still fannying about weeks into it.

 

Because the football world revolves around the premier league.

Personally theyve shot themselves in the foot. The rest of us will still be open surely and that leaves more bargains to be had with no english no name clubs throwing millions around.
