Cheers Bogusz i'm looking forward to him scoreing for the hoops but i fear his time is running out as Beatie and Maloney are on fire and it will be hard to keep them out of the team if he continues to draw a blank in front of goal.

Petrov you are right thats why I wrote that next year Boruc has chance to be first choice in polish NT. But right now he played too little games abroad. If he will keep playing good all season as first choice in Scotland he will propably be in our goal in WC (if Poland wil appear there...) but it also depends on Dudeks situation. Everything can happen.

well im sure he will find his game. looking back to yesterdays game (thanks to my cable tv provider) its clear to me that theres still lack of communication and understanding between new and old players. I saw zurawski goin well forward couple of times, leaving defenders behind. these were that kind of moments he would get a right pass (no offside) from the mid (if it was his former club or polish NT). he recieved such ball only once, but he missed that one on one with dundee keeper.
Well im not defending Zura, what im trying to say is Celtic mid is, well, not creative much. We play schematics, the opponents can see the tactics through. Too slow, not seeing too much on the pitch. But with players like Nakamura future is bright cause hes the one who can play the ball the way defenders dont expect him to play. He looks like hes seeing much, and thinks, makes decisions couple of times quicker than players like Lennon who IMO played crap against Dundee.

    i think ur right
and id rather look at zurawski as a longterm investment
his first season may be though, but i think we will see him better within a month or two
anyway, hes gonna get on the bench surely if he wont start scoring

    yes this is the problem
ive seen at least 8 times when zuraw was initiating this kiknd of movement
and as u said - only once he got ball he was counting on
then again, he missed that situation and that might be the reason he didnt got any more of such passes ;)
when he will score from balls like that, he will get more passes, as simple as that
that will happen, imo, but he needs this trust from teammates first, and its all up to him now

    true.

btw, funny thing is things for 2 polish signings for Celtic turned out the way they did. everyone here was expecting Zura to be a star from now on, and Boruc was about to be benched all season.. and it seems to be the other way round..

im out for couple of beers , think im gonna sport my celtic top :))

Anyone else think that Zuraw's playmaking skills were superb? I think we should play him in midfielf because from what I've seen he can't score worth * but made some sublime passes and, as has been previously stated, has great movement.

Jerzy Dudek has been ruled out of action for up to three months after a fracture-dislocation of his elbow picked up at the end of a training session at Melwood on Monday. He was immediately treated at the scene by the club's medical staff before being led away from the pitch holding his right arm.

Liverpool FC Head of Press Ian Cotton said: "Jerzy has a fracture-dislocation of his elbow. He saw a specialist on Monday afternoon and will see another specialist on Tuesday for further investigation.

"He will be out of action for three months."

I'm very sad. That means it'll be impossible for him to find a new club in this transfer window.

It gives opportunity to Boruc, but he wasn't in squad for tournament in Ukraine. Maybe he'll sit on bench or play only one game?

cmon now, injury doesnt mean any big name club can sign him.. Cant u remember any teams signing class players that are temporarily out of action? lets recall van Nistelrooy for Man Utd, for exaple..

Wisla won the first leg of CL group stages qualifier vs Panathinaikos 3:1 tonight... is Magic jinxed? (relax, just kidding ;)). Anyway, no CL for him this year while his former club now has a very good chance to make it...

Next year - Wisla vs Celtic in group stages? Let's hope so. ;)

that was a * awesome performance from Brozek, a guy who replaced Zurawski in Wisla... geez the guy was having a great game.. future looks bright for wisla, couple of young players like Brozek (22) look very sharp, all they want is kick somebodys * .. cant wait til the 2nd leg :)) hope scottish and foreign Celtic fans can do us a favour and supprort Wisla against Panathinaikos next week :)

Agree, great game for Brozek, and a pity that volley attempt didn't work for him ;) he would have been the Man of the Match if it did, no question about it.

It's good to see him linking with Frankowski so well, actually it's almost as if it was Zuraw playing.

One thing that just corssed my mind is, that it could be Wisla vs Rangers this year in the group stages. I bet Wisla gets a lot of support from Celtic fans if this happens ;).

Still, not counting the chicken yet. Wisla stands a great chance, but they have to get a good result in Athens first. Will be a tough game, but after tonight I am optimistic.

    chance is great
but this is similar to artmedia vs celtic!

panathinaikos is starting season, their form will raise
hopefully one week aint enough (edit: *, just found out its 2weeks..)
and 2 goal margin is obstacle they wont pass

    good game today wisla!
    CL is one step away
