    For the life of me , I cannot remember the song me and my bride danced the first dance to at our wedding in 1975 , neither can she , probably why we divorced 10 years ago :56:

    I do however remember the daddy daughter songs with my two girls on their big days
    Oldest daughter was " I loved her first " by heartland
    Young daughter was " butterfly kisses " by Bob Carlisle
    Two wonderful memories . What's your wedding dance songs

    This was ours too, band didn’t quite pull off this version but it was nice all the same.

    We wanted Rule the World by Take That but they said they didn’t play that one, in hindsight the * amount we paid them they should have learned it.

    Was great fun and a good laugh

    Aye we just had a dj in mate, couldnae be * with a band.

    Played that version, then a few party tunes after the * dreaded first dance then went into full on gbx mode :56::56::56::56:

    I play in a wedding band and we would always learn the First Dance & the Daddy Daughter Dance.

    Mind you everyone picks the same tunes so only really need to know about 10 songs!
