Overall his signings have been poor. Out of 30 odd signings you could probably name 6 or 7 good buys.

I have nothing against Strachan, he's done a good job seeing off a mcleish team and a plg team and been successful in Europe.

I just think that he's had a 2 year head start on th huns at rebuilding. They are going for 4 trophies, we are relying on other teams to win 1. After 3 seasons I do not see us that much further forward.

With better finances and supporters than the huns I just want a manager to be wiping the floor with a mediocre rangers side.

he had near enough 20 million to splash on sutton hartson lennon and inherited the priceless larsson. strachan came bought mo camara etc to do a job. and they done it. they won the league. he also in the process signed boruc, skippy and improved mcgeady to what he is today. also got rid of dead wood and cut the wage bill. cut the guy some slack he's done extremely well

camara etc were brought in to do a job. it was a quick fix and it worked. everyone knew they wouldnt be long term. and they were offloaded.

who predicted gravesen to be a dud? the fact the highest number of online users on this forum was the time gravesen was signing says it all. we all thought he would be exceptional. donati was a gamble. we didnt pay 4/5 million for him. he was a gamble and it didnt come off. browns value doubled about a month after he signed. was he a dud? boruc now best keeper in europe. dud?

My opinion is that Strachan was brought in because of his transfer dealings. Look at his time at Coventry, He made them a profit in the transfer market Robbie Keane being his best buy then sell player. He also made a profit of Hadji and some other guy whose name escapes me at present.

I do see the bigger picture.

The odds are stacked against us winning ANYTHING this season.

Generally accepted that GS will leave either this season or at the end of next season.

Attendances are continuing to drop.

Why not just give the club an overhaul at the end of the season. New manager, new ideas, long term vision to take the club forward.

 

for ghord sakes. MON lost 2 out of 3 titles in his last 3 years with us, against really * Rangers teams. Now that is *. WGS has 2 out of 2 and fighting for 3 with the most successful Rangers team in a decade or more.

 

what was the attendances of the last 5 home games coz? do you know?

 

They were not * Rangers teams. They had some good players. Both halves of the old firm could easily take 4 or 5 off the rest of the teams in the SPL.

Everyoe goes on about the duds strachan has signed. Well we have a sqaud full of his signings do we not? with the exception of McManus, McGeady & Balde every player in that squad would either have been bought or brought into the squad by WGS. So are these people sayin our team is full of duds? I don't understand:S
