wages has nothing to do with the manager. thats chief exec and board room matters.

why does he have to be a likeable person? alex ferguson is a * yet he gets the best out of his players.

To me he knows how to motivate players and get them playing for him. Players want to play for him. Just a matter of time before a top club in a top league go for him.

PLG was HIGHLY over rated. he had a team that was winning before and after he left.

I can say what I like.

I am already looking ahead to next season. And I'd like change. Theres nothing I would like better than celtic to win the league this season. But I wouldnt be given Strachan any more money to waste on dud after dud.

Since anyones opinion is really based on what they read or are told, then yes. I have read players want to play for him. I have read he is a great motivator. I have read he has a reputation as one of the best young managers with potential in Europe.

didn't realise players like nakamura, brown, donati, jvoh were considerd Wasted money... rather SPENT money. then there is players like JJ who was bought for a million kept for 2 years, done his job and sold at 31 for 600k. pretty good imo.
