And Kevin Doyle used to drink at my local CSC. Man utd fan, but a good lad and i think he would jump at the chance of playing for us.

no, not really. just because they are relegated doesn't mean they don't have any good players.

    Granted

But the fact they've been relegated should give u a good indication as to wot sort of season they've had.

Reading have a few good players down there. Doyle is a cracking striker and Nicky Shorey would be a very good buy for us at left back. Stephen Hunt is also another one i like as well as Dave Kitson.

From Birmingham David Murphy is one i would defo go for, Maybe McFadden at a push. Kapo i doubt we could afford as i hear he is being touted to join a english prem team for a good few quid.

Fulham striker Brian McBride is a class striker as well. A big guy not afraid to go for the ball, Not scared to get in there with the head also. A very brave type player maybe we have been lacking.

Brian McBride ffs hes nearly 36yrs old!!Nicky Shorey wd b a great signing tho if we could afford him.Or Leighton Baines whos fallen down the pecking order at Everton whos still young with bags of potential. Both good left backs imo:50:

its the team that got the club relegated, not individuals.

however, i don't think this is the market we have to operate in as we can't afford any other than the basement of the EPL. we can afford other players, its just will the board be willing to spend heavily this summer? i hope the way rangers have caught up with us this season will give our board the kick up their * that they needed.

Forssell is a class player, imagine where he'd be without all the injury issues that plagued him through the years, but that's always gonna be a question mark for him, can he stay healthy.

Hahnemann is too old, Shorey will end in the EPL, Zarate probably too (his club want big money, cause they spent 10m on him to bring him to Qatar), I'm not sold on McFadden and Kapo.

Out of the relegated guys I like Kevin Doyle even if his season was rather weak compared to last year's, Hunt will probably stay in the EPL (Sunderland?)

I like Faddy but he is a problem player to fit into a normal formation. I think he could maybe play Naka's position but I would not pay more than 2-3 million for him. A talent but a hard one to use. I dotn watch enough English footy to comment a lot on the others. Are these all 'celtic minded' ones you have selected or am I being cynical:97:

to be honest its stupid to focus on English market. Its the worst value for money in the world. We havent signed a decent player from England since the big cheque days under early MON about 7 or 8 years ago. The English market is no use to us unless we are talking very young players.

we wont get giovanni from madrid and doyle is being linked with MON at villa but if we could get doyle a think would be a good signing or his team mate kitson is also a good player. Nicky shorey will not sign 4 us as a think he ll move to a premier league club offering silly money for wages. we should look for someone with alot of pace either up front or on other wing from aiden like tht guy fi spartak moscow bystrov he was frightingly quick

Kitsons my pick of the players mentioned, bit of a Sutton type, though without the temperment.
Hunt would also be good too though, adds a good bit of fight to the midfield. And who knows, that might get his brother here quickly too.
