We should play two strikers from now on. When Dembele and Edouard played together it was one of our best attacking displays domestically this year. We need Griffiths back.

We were so * today. I understand a lot of changes were made but that doesn’t excuse the lack of urgency/tempo. St Johnstone players constantly making fouls didn’t help and Beaton is * useless. I’m not just talking about his performance today. Any time I see him referee a game he always * no matter if we are involved or not.

That type of play does my head in. Very frustrating.

    * off, even after dropping points and rangers winning we’ve still extended our lead ahead of our closest rival- which isn’t the huns

Not excusing the fact our performances in league haven’t been good enough this year though

An important 0-0 ahead of our most important game of the season. 9 points clear is fine.

The lol moment: Scott Sinclair, devoid of ideas seemingly all season, ran out of ideas and just JUMPED into a St Johnstone defender. Looking for an FK

Don’t often blame the ref but that * was a disgrace. We’d have won comfortably if he’d actually made them play by the rules.

As has been said, it will hopefully be worth it come Thursday.

To be fair, I'm sure we played them directly after a champions league game this season when Gordon gave them a goal. To use that excuse twice is poor against a rubbish side who've been garbage all season..

Once? Fair enough. Twice in succession? Nowhere near good enough from Rodgers who should be able to come up with a game plan and changes in personnel to win..

I know we're trying to go through this tie, but we're also trying to get some winning continuity going. It can't be good for confidence for Europe dropping as many points as we have been..

Also chasing the game and taking a striker off for another was pitiful..

This time last year we were 27 points ahead. That says it all

Resting players was the right thing to do and the squad we put was more than good enough to beat one of the worst teams of the scottish league.

People seem to operate under the assumption that Sevco and Aberdeen can go the rest of the season unbeaten or something.

We extended our lead today - not as much as we could have. But we are further ahead than we were on Friday.

I'm happy to bet you £5000 that we will win the league. Want to take that action?

    No excuses pure pish!

To have those players in that team today against a team who have won none of their last 6 lost their last 4 and scored none in their last 3!

    Disgusting, abject and * woeful!

9 clear of the sheep and Sevco. If we don't start grinding out wins soon that gap will narrow.

    *edited for correction

Today has nothing to do with resting players.

Our tactics have been worked out. We move far too slowly under the guise of possession football. Last season teams could frustrate us for 60 minutes then they would tire because we kept a high tempo. Now we move so slowly that they have more energy than us at the end of the game.

I know the response by many will be 'Still 9 points clear, still on for a treble and still in Europe', but I'm sorry, it isn't just about results. The fans need to be entertained too.

It's perfectly reasonable to have the occasional poor game of football, but this has been going on since December or earlier. Even many of our wins have been brutal performances reminiscent of the Deila era.

agree mate, play our winning 11 from Thursday minus brown, when a team is winning and playing well they don't want rested and their adrenaline is buzzing, if someone gets injured that's fitba
Still think we win league but 9 points is not a massive gap way we've been domestically

Poor result yes but ffs. we are still 9 points clear, league will be over before the split, good run in the Europa and a Scottish Cup Final to look forward to. SPFL standards have improved this season, we were never gonnae get as easy this season. Keep the faith.
