A stone is an actual unit of measurement. I honestly thought it was a slang term, so commonly used in the UK and Ireland that it was treated as common language - assumed it was 10kg or something along those lines.

Thing that's always puzzled me, you see * in the gym lifting heavy weights (let's talk about legs the now) and have excellent muscle of trained right.

Surely to * * that are like 20-odd stone should have more muscular legs, considering they are walking about carrying that type of weight every day? :39:

I get where you're coming from but don't think I can explain why I think it doesn't happen. Maybe the fact that they're 20 stone means they're not actually doing much moving?

They do it’s just under a lot of fat, when I lost 9stone my calves looked like I’d been doing leg day for a year or two and I only ever did cardio.

Most people on the weight loss section of reddit that post before and after pictures have great legs. It’s weird :giggle1:

Got tailgated on ma way to work this morning by a boy racer. It was a B road with a slight frost, I pulled over to let him past. After a few miles I noticed the same boy racer standing at the side of the road on his phone and his car through a fence in a field. Sometimes it's better tae be the tortoise rather than the hare. :giggle1:

That The Verve receive no royalties from Bittersweet Symphony at all.

The classical strings heard throughout the song were taken from a Rolling Stones tune and they sued them for using more of it than agreed.

    Such a massive song as well...what a *.
