Think he'll be on the bench personally, reckon he'll come on at some point.

Don't believe those figures, it would make him basically our most expensive signing and highest earner, for a loan deal with no sell on value?

No chance the board would sign off on that.

HLN has as much credibility as The Daily Record or The Sun. Why would any party to the deal intimate any of its terms to a Flemish journalist and no one else?

I doubt those numbers are right. We would buy another Ntcham before spending that on a loan.

I reckon the numbers are far lower and basically nominal. His potential worth is huge but his actual worth just now is much lower.

Chelsea have sent him here because he’s almost guaranteed to play and he’ll be under Rodgers guidance. This one wasn’t about making a quick buck for them, they want a player back in 18 months.

We’ve been speaking to him for a year and we’ve had him up here a few times. He knows he’s wanted here. He’s probably been presented options by Chelsea and he’s wanted to come here, so they’ve let the deal happen.

That loan figure is ridiculous. There is no * way we would spend that kind of money on a loan deal. No * way.

Many sources claim that the Patrick Roberts deal signed in late August 17 for 10 months was in the 7 figures.

That of course may mean minimum of £1m but it could mean £2m or higher. If we paid 7 figures for Roberts for 10 months, you can only presume Musonda would have been more expensive for 18 months? Higher calibre player too with a higher value on his head.

We are in a new era, these loan deals are going to be the only way we can afford Premiership quality players especially with TV budgets down south increasing year on year.

Bournemouth are the worlds 28th richest club with a revenue of £159m last year. Celtic generated £90.6m in comparison. Bournemouth's stadium capacity is 11,300.

Where is our VVD money? I'm guessing a large part of it has went into this 18 month loan deal. It was a 'bonus' afterall due to the crazy transfer fees being flung around down south.

Agree though, £5m loan fee is a touch on the high side. £2-3m at a push yes. £40k a week is what can be expected though.

If he helps us get past Zenit then qualify for the CL he would repay that fee 10x over.

You have to pay for quality, even for 18 months. There's also no way we are paying his full wage per week.

I highly doubt we are paying 100% of his wage.

He's been training and playing with the Chelsea first team squad , I'd start him against Hearts.

He's unfollowed everything Chelsea related on social media. Hazard, Courtois, official club account etc.

    Chelsea fans going mental :56:

Those figures are miles and miles off, fee and wages.

He may very well be on 40k at Chelsea but we aren't paying him that. Put it that way.

He seems a right sound *.

Thought he was going to be a cocky *.

Knows his stuff about the club and sounds genuinely excited to be here. Can’t wait to see him play for us.
