His skills would be better suited to Mordor then.

Regardless, I think now is a good time to look for a younger option.

A 6-month loan for Danny Ward with a view to buy would be a good move, IMO. He has potential and if during that time we decide not to opt, we will have had enough time to soundly scout out other potential options. Wouldn't want us to rush into anything with so little time left in the window, in terms of a permanent buy.

    We won't, anyway.

Get a loan in to cover and see how hazard gets on. Him and Doohan have been touted as long term options on goal for a while now. Got to step up some time.

Ward would be decent, I’d even take Bogdán from Liverpool. There’s Boruc and Federici at Bournemouth as well. Not so sure about them but if it’s 6 months what harm can it do.

That CQN reporting he could be fit for next month to play Zenit. Apparently scan has showed no long term damage & isn’t the knee that kept him out for 3 years.

What happens if De Vries injures himself against Hearts tomorrow night? Who goes in between the sticks? With Connor Hazard away, whose next in line and on the bench tomorrow night? I guess a youth from our development squad?

It was Eddie who designed it for me. Only got a minute left of my break or would look for him and @him :56:

The 38th league game is played on the 12/13th May. The Europa cup final is played in Lyon on the 16th May ;) and the Scottish cup final date on the 19th May.

12 weeks takes us up to the end of April so he may still play the very last few games.

Brendan can't take a risk with having De Vries as our only option going into the Europa, he has to sign someone before Wednesday. If De Vries injures himself and we have no other cover other than the youth team GK then that will be embarrassing.
