No * chance of another loan deal for him! It’s time for him to step up at Celtic or we look to sell him for the £500k we paid for him, I for one would like to see him playing for us next season!

I work with few aberdeen fans and they have said there’s rumours of some sort of deal being worked on that would see Christie move to Aberdeen and their goalie coming to us.

Doubt there's any truth in this, their keeper is howling. As said above come the summer there should be no more loan deals for Christie, it's crunch-time to make a decision. Either incorporate him in the squad with a view to playing or if deemed surplus to requirements then get him sold for at least the £500k we purchased him for.

Surely not. That would be horrendous business from us. Would be great business for Aberdeen getting a quality player for a bang average goalkeeper.

As much as Gordon gets on my * at times with his passing I would rather have him than Lewis. Would also rather have De Vries over Lewis.

He's proven himself at Inverness and Aberdeen x2. Don't think he needs another loan. I'd hope he gets a shot at the #10 position this summer, I think he has it in him to take his chance.

Rodgers said he wants a Scottish core, so I'd expect Christie to get a chance next season.

He's earned the chance, otherwise what's the point in sending high potential players out on loan..

So they get experience mate but O agree he’s coming to an age where he’d be better off with us.

Aye, not saying he will take us to the next level but he does deserve a chance to show what he can do..

I really like the look of him and hope he gets his chance next year. Whether he takes it or not, that's a different story. But he could improve/freshen up our squad depending who goes in the summer.

For the sake of the last 5 months of the season, I think it would be best for all parties if Christie stayed at Aberdeen on loan for the remainder of the season and comes back into the fold for pre-season.

Staying and establishing himself as a focal point in a team who are looking to win on a weekly basis will only do him good and he'll gain some invaluable experience.

Bring him home for the start of the next campaign and it'll let's see how he steps up from there. Halfway through a season isn't ideal for him and would be slightly unfair to expect him to come in at this stage of the season and make an immediate impact.

Personally I don’t think he’s up to the standard we need to push on next year. The number 10 role is an area of the team where I think we need we need to strengthen and I don’t see Christie offering an inprovement on what we already have.

He’s probably got the potential to be a handy squad player like Hayes but I don’t see him ever becoming a regular here.

I’m not a fan of Rogic but he I still think he is far superior to Christie and we cant afford to have 2 number 10’s in reserve if we are looking for another one in the summer.

Think he will be Armstrong's replacement long term tbh.

I think he's right in saying we need a new number 10.
In the champions league game a player with real quality in that role could be the difference to qualifying with a 'kinder' draw.
I really like rogic and feel he could make that difference, but Brendan I'm not so sure is convinced. I'm guessing is the lack of pace that's his concern, or fitness levels.
Is Christie that player, again pace could be a factor in giving that chance in big games. But technically while I feel he's good player I think he's also not up to the standard of rogic.
I'm in that camp of bringing in a new number ten and another winger in this window, but I'm also concerned it will hinder the development of Christie and Morgan next season and I'm sure it's a decision that need weighed up considerably
