Guy instantly looks under pressure as soon as he receives it and it is painful viewing, has been for a long time. Slow, weak and horribly one footed. Weak link.

I actually think Rodgers never uses him as we are weak enough in the air as it is without replacing one of our better players in the air with someone who is useless.

If we don't play Lustig then we would be going into games with only 2 centre-halves and Dembele to defend set peices in the air and even then Dembele has hardly been playing.

Hit the nail on the head. Love the big guys passion but numerous injuries and age has caught up with him. Need Ralston or Gamboa in to AT LEAST put pressure on Mika for a starting spot, if not replacing him long term as we did with KT and Izzy.

Felt sorry for him today. Never really recovered from an awful start.

He’s been a great servant, but we really need better. Legs have gone and looks really nervous in possession nowadays.

How do we know since neither of them have had a run in the team? Gamboa has impressed whenever he has stepped in and Ralston was improving each game he got until the injury.

A don't feel sorry for him.

He's being paid a wage many of us dream of and playing for the team most of us would give our left nut to play for.

Hes been here long enough to know the importance of today's game.

Needs replaced. Today didn't confirm it, it has been obvious for a while.

Love Lustig but I haven’t let that cover up the fact that I think he has been poor a lot for a while now. He has never been the quickest but it is clear he got a lot slower with injuries etc.

His passing is up there with Gordon’s, absolutely shocking. He is so one footed.

He was too scared to take a touch today, a lot of the time he just kicked it aimlessly and gave away possession. When he did take a touch he gave it away.

Lustig days as a right back are done. His lack of pace really is a burden to the side. He should be only in the side as a centre back, his defensive instincts and postioning are his strong points, not his pace or getting forward and creating chances/linking up play.

Get Gamboa back in the side. Having pace in that position completly changes the way the team plays. Thought Gamboa has done well when ever given the chance and thought his passing was decent as well. He was chucked in against Barca at the Nou Camp when he first came here and then chucked in against Bayern after not playing for ages against Kingsley Coman, not an easy opponent for even the best of defenders.

For an international footballer to play that many * passes and to fluster under pressure from a couple of zombies is a really really poor show.

Looked like pure complacency. He’s became accustomed to having time on the ball and maybe thought he could stroll it.

Love the guy loads, the player, not so much.

Harsh. He’s one of our most passionate players and will be hurting at how poor he was. No one will know how bad he was more than him.

It was painful to watch a player I have a lot of respect for have such a poor game. It nearly spiralled out of control at one point when he couldn’t find a Celtic jersey in about five attempts.

The fact he is on a good wage is completely irrelevant. No professional football player wants to have a nightmare in one of the fiercest derbies in the world, regardless of how much money they have.

If you look back you’ll see I’ve been a critic of him recently, but his commitment isn’t in question he just had an awful game. I think he’s more than aware what the game means.

Like the guys passion and love for the club. But, his legs are gone and he cannot play a forward pass if his life depended on it. Every time he gets the ball it's played across to one of the CB's at best, or more often than not back to Gordon usually short or making him scramble to hoof it away. Today showed him up and it's time to bring in a new RB.

Watched the invincibles dvd a few days ago, the amount of chances coming from him getting roasted is unreal. Think he got away with it more last season because we were firing on all cylinders up front so our defence was getting overlooked. Definitely needing someone in to take over.

Any player with a bit of pace has him on toast now, unfortunately. Occasionally his experience will help him out but I think we should be looking to edge him out as a regular.
