Thought Bitton and Paddy were a strange duo to put together until I noticed their shirt numbers together.

Had a * outstanding tackle on the edge of the box when the ball was bouncing and the boy was running through.

Any other CB made that and people would be raving about it.

The reaction to him wishing people a happy Hannukah on Facebook was a disgrace.

Hes been our best centre back all season , was brilliant on the ball against Bayern as well and helps us build from the back so well.

He'd be my number 1 choice every day of the week and I know thats unpopular but he's improving all the time and is probably our best technical player

He isnt strong enough in the tackle or in the air. Even when he was in midfield, i always thot for a tall guy, he is ineffective when the ball is in the air.

An example of this was when Martinez got above him for Bayerns winner. Bitton didnt even jump.

Don’t think that was strength, just a misjudgment. He’s learning to use his body to his strength, still not all the way there but there has been a massive improvement since the shift to CB.

I know this is probably a minimum requirement of a professional athlete his size but he's improved massively in these areas for me and will hopefully continue to do so.
Won loads of headers last night and his timing and strength in the tackle was good and has improved too. Been some difference in the big man.

Makes me sick to be honest. Being pro-Palestine doesn't mean you have to be anti-semite.

NB: "We've had a few good games at Tynecastle over the last few years. It's always a good atmosphere. We want the best result we can in every game and it will be the same on Sunday."

NB: "As a footballer, you'd rather play games than train. We have a busy schedule but we are ready for it and look forward to it. The manager and the coaching staff prepare us and make sure we are fresh."

NB on squad rotation: "It's not about me or anyone else, it's about Celtic. When I play i'll do my best but if not, I want Celtic to win every game."

NB on unbeaten run: "It’s a long season. We need to be focused and look at the next game. We need to keep doing the same things we've done up until now."

NB: "When we broke the record, our target became stretching it for as long as we can. We want to play the best football we can."

NB on playing centre-back: "My preferred position is centre-back now! Midfielder, defender, goalkeeper, wherever the gaffer plays me i'll try my best to help the team to a good result."

NB: "The gaffer is a great manager to work with. I didn’t know how to play the position but he has guided me and given me confidence. I also speak with the guys around me, Jozo, Dedryck, KT, to learn more
