    One positive way to look at this if we progress tonight but lose on the night is that we have been nowhere close to our best yet this season (the Bayern Munich game at Celtic Park aside). We’ll have until February to hit our stride, and we normally play our best football in the second half of the season.

    We havent spent to compete at this level in europe. We spent the absolute minimum to try and qualify for the groups and we did so. I think the issue is a lack of ambition rather than a poor manager
