Am I, and another couple of guys on this forum, the only ones who realise the impact of our defeat in this tie?

WE ARE OUT OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE---------YES THATS RIGHT-------COMPLETLEY OUT OF EUROPE----NO EUFA CUP----NO INTERTOTO----NO * ALL

WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING MORE PLAYERS, HAVE YOU GUYS NO FORESIGHT TO SEE, THAT ALL WE WILL HEAR IS THAT ""BECAUSE THE UNTIMELY EXIST FROM EUROPE, THE CELTIC BORAD OF DIRECTORS CANNOT SANCTION ANY FURTHER MOVES IN THE TRANSER MARKET AT THIS TIME""

I MEAN, GUYS, ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE, PULL YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ARSES AND RECOGNISE THAT THIS IS A DISASTER WITH A CAPITAL 'F'....

Yes hail hail you are probalBy correct, so what do you suggest we do to fix it immediately? We are not destined to be playing in the champions league every year as you will realise if u cast your mind back a few years. Ok MON did us a great service but he also left a bollox of a side for our new manager!!!!

It's a disaster as we were losing money eve with £10m from CL money. Glad we made all the signings before the tie.

We realised we were out last week, but what do you want us to * do about it? Complain? All we can do is look ahead and concentrate on the SPL and domestic trophies

I would forget about losing £10m because it wouldnt go to a transfer fund and even if it did who would we spend it on.
Give the young players a proper chance over a couple of seasons and they'll come good.
Beattie is looking better with every game and maloney would be perfect playing in the hole because of his movement and exellent technical ability, Ross Wallace would benefit from a decent run too and tactically he should be played instead of Thomson against certain opposition.
Boruc looked very assured and he looks a superb signing.
John Kennedy would have had a breeze playing against them too, Adam Virgo we'll have to wait and see. Nakamura hopefully will gell with the younger players.
The options are there and hopefully someone can come through and take over from Lennon.
Dont see the transfer market getting any easier so this has to be the way, id rather spend £10m on youth than to mercineries so thats the positive im taking from this.

    Hail Hail

    Absolutely.

Every fan has a duty to put pressure on the club to bring success.

Put it this way. The fans are the investors in the club. They are the ones who buy the goods.

Do you think any other product would still get the support Celtic PLC gets if that product was on a threee year decline?

    No, I dont think so.

So, pressure must be applied, through supporters clubs, AGMs, EGMs, vocal expression at CP and if necessary bums on seats at crap games like CIS ties.

Or shall we sit back and take more *.

Unless you guys forget. Rangers were dominant for about 10 years not so long ago. The tide turned and we had a spell of success, but remember it wasnt 9-in-a- row, it was only a lesser comparison of 3 out of 5 titles under MON.

I feel the tide is turning again the other way unless the rot is cut out.

Murray at Rangers is the lifeblood of rangers and a true supporter who is willing to do anything to keep them at the top. Unfortunately we have no mirror image at CP as a major shareholder.

It is up to the fans then to make our malcontent known.

Sadly true - I've always maintained that the PLC treat Celtic as a product and are obsessed with the 'brand'. Fans should do the same; as in not watching this *.
Well the only way they'll sit up and take note that we're unhappy is if shirt sales drop, seats are left empty and fans vote with their feet.

We have been milked and abused for far too long, and the worst european result in 20 years is all we have to show for it. Poor, very poor.

Getting put out of Europe before we were even in it by a wee team like Bratislava is a disaster a * embarassment.

But last night most people were proud of the team for the way they tried and the way they played. No-one is happy with the team for us getting put out in the 2nd qualifying round by a supposedly * team.

Things could really fall apart on the 20th. I hope the team realizes that the Euro exit is to be used as an incentive to drive them on to win everything else. I can see a great sale on the cards at Parkhead come January - Telfer, Camara, Varga, Balde, Thompson and at the seasons end - Lennon, Sutton, Aliadiere (he's not ours to sell but he wont stay if he don't play), Hartson. Somebody had better explain to Zurawaski what we expect for 2.8m, it's not showing yet. Maybe Nakamura will bring it out of him.

With all due respect mate, Strachan and the celtic board were under alot of pressure already. It was pretty obvious we were out of Europe, so the best they could do was put on a show and show that we are capable of scoring and also more importantly, not conceed. It's time to build on last night, with a win under Strachans belt, I feel he will gain a little more confidence, but don't get me wrong, if he slips up against another team the fans will want his head on a silver plate.

If we'd have got the 5th and 6th goal all it would have done would have been an opportunity to get it right up gloating huns in the workplace this morning. However, it would have also given the 'custodians' an alternative excuse for not spending; suggesting the team was clicking and that wee ginger pubes was a tactical genius. Sadly, neither is the case. I'm not going to go through the individual weaknesses of each guilty player over the last week, they are scarily obvious. What I'm worried about is that we might have watched Stan for the last time. This guy has been a collosus for us for years and I fear if we get an offer of 4million, our lot will not satnd in his way. Celtic fans know a striker when they see one and Magic is most definately not one. The guy is just not happy feeding of JH. Instead, he was naturally dropping back in the hole where he wanted to pick the ball up and create something, but had obviously had orders and (unwillingly) tried to carry them out. Many other observations from last night; not all of them negative. When the Hoops are in the blood it just hurts so much, that's all. Keep the Faith

It comes down 2 celtic having a rotten game last week. But all bhoys and ghirls should be proud of the way the hoops played. i left paradise last nite with a big smile cause a knew they played well and appreciated the fans signing their hearts out. thats the best atmosphere i'v felt at park head. sitting rite beside the artmedia fans was class, they all took photos when we sang you'll never walk alone which was done brilliantly! im proud of the bhoys, the game was well controlled (lenny!), and the chances where there, just a shame that on the nite the better team didnt go through... it all comes down 2 poor organisation and defense, + strikers missing their chances last week. but thats all past now wat we have 2 concentrate on is the league. Hail Hail the hoops! :50:

+ Zurawski played really well, as did thommo. shame Zuraw couldnt have pulled back that shot and scored but he did get the penalty which gave the bhoys confidence.
