definetly not, id rather have deeks than this lad. too inconsistent and should have his own newspaper colum for his weekly rant. considerin this lad is playing for his career he's not up to much. if we paid over 2 million for this lad it would be the worst piece of business in years.the likes of noel hunt would be better option tan tis lad and at the fraction of the cost,

As a Manchester City Fan (and Celtic) I personally think Sam Harris is too far up his own *. When he came to City he was putting the effort in and playing well but then it wore off but he still thought he was a class player. Looks like hes done the same at Celtic where he's shot his bolt. He did nothing yesterday, even looked crap at taking the ball to the corner to waste time.
He even says he isnt comming back to City!!!!! I dont think its his choice.

come on! the guy is better than what we have available to us at the moment, jvoh is lazy in 80% of his games, and skippy doesnt know how to pass. he has went off the boil at the moment, that doesnt mean he is *. he is still scoring isnt he?
anyone would find it hard with skippy with all the greeting he does, and imo samaras and jvoh make a decent partnership

Fletcher actually played for a Celtic youth team. Ferguson signed him out from under us over a game of snooker. He's a hoops fan too. There's a picture of him out there wearing the colours.

 

As for Samaras i also feel he's too lazy. A couple of times on Sunday he could have played in Naka one on one with the keeper and just didn't committ to the pass. When were up against it in games he is not the right guy to have on the park. He did it at City now he's doing it here. Bring him on with half an hour left til the end of the season then ship him

 

Wow, how the tide has turned on this player.

Few points. Unlike your other two strikers, he has not ever had a run of games in the first 11 - even when he was scoring off the bench. Until this happens, how can he be judged properly? I mean I think it should be clear to everyone here he is a confidence player. When he is feeling happy and confident, he is still better than most I believe. However, if you don't trust him to put together a string of games in the first 11, a hardly think that is helping his confidence or Celtic evaluate him properly.

And the aberdeen game is now discarded I see as well. Lets remember it. That was the game where Samaras scored twice - (one disallowed) and saved celtic and Skippy was useless. Yet who was attacked more? Samaras or Skippy? LOL If Samaras has started vs Rangers who knows what would have happened? Do we also know how many goals Samaras will score in a season for Celtic if he was played as much as Skippy? Or is this just al guessing he would not score as many?

About his lazy style. He is the sort of player who will play in that lackadaisical style in Spain, score and be called a hero. Or play in Man City or Celtic, do the same and still be called lazy. Personally I believe he makes stupid choices when he is not confident. A confident Samaras runs at defenders and goes for goals. An unconfident Samaras makes the wrong choice. This is a player remember that came from holland scoring goals for fun. Came to Man City and continued in the same vein, but was than injured and after that systematically destroyed by Man City. Even many of their fans admit he was destroyed at their club. All they have to do is watch the videos when he first started at city, before his confidence was wrecked and he was played on the wing for the rest of his city career to confound his problems.

I will end by saying Samaras as it is currently is not worth 3.5 million. No way.
