Aye, you'd think he'd sit quiet knowing how pish he was here and hope no one would remember it. What does the big lanky streak of pish do though, highlights it with his bitterness by slating us and our game even though he couldn't score in a brothel in Scotland :56:

    You couldn't make it up..

The calibre of player who has a negative opinion on us these day's is something else. If you compiled a list of these fannies like Cunningham, Savage, Cascacarino goals you'd be in stitches compared to the elite level who are usually more knowledgeable and complimentary. See whenever these fannies are asked about a game or player's like Savage for example, he hasn't a clue what's what and doesn't watch us whatsoever..

"Lets all laugh at Chelsea" was the chant from the Jungle after that deal. :giggle1:

And what a deal it was. Got rid of the big dumpling and got a club great in return.

Tony cannaescoreagoalla whit a useless * he was. Only good thing he ever did playing for us was knocking out craig levein. About 5 mins after scoring his first goal. An ocean liner could turn quicker. *

He was decent, possibly a bit better than decent. Loved the club though and always left everything out on the pitch.

Plus he captained us to stopping the ten. Played out of position a lot to cover our inability to buy a good LB.

Boyd was an excellent player for Celtic.

Especially in the early years after originally signing.

Was more of a rampaging full back who steadily focused more on the defensive side as the years went by.

Put it this way... In a team and an era where we had the likes of Cascarino, Gillespie & Slater, Boyd was definitely an improvement, and could hold his head up with the likes of Collins & McStay.

Best Tom Boyd moment. The ref gives Celtic a freekick, but allows the wall to stand about 6 yrds away. Boyd runs about 30 or 40 yards, doesn't say a word to the ref, then purposefully steps out the 10 yards, a good 3 or 4 yards past where the wall is still standing and then looks at the ref before casually starts to trot back. He got booked for his troubles as he was heading back into postion, but from that moment on he was a complete hero. Wish could find it on youtube. Used to have that on a VHS tape. Cant even remember who we were playing on the day now.

I remember that watching at my grandads which means it was probably against Rangers as it was the only games he didnt go to. Guessing around 95 or 96.

It is weird that stuck in my head but I remember my grandad going mental because he never should have been booked.
